(Original Review) Left on a full tank of gas, returned it 3 hours and 70 miles later to be charged for a full tank of gas. The Bottom line is don't prepay for gas; fill it up before you return it.(Updated as of 14 May 23) spoke with Alamo customer service and they listened to my concern based on my experience. After that conversation, I am completely satisfied and they have restored my full confidence!! Thank you Alamo team for taking the time to review this situation and take corrective actions. Because of this I will be back again in the future as a rental customer! Thank you for Top Notch support.

2nd time at Alamo in less than 3 weeks, they were awesome from check out time, to the car I drove was great, and finally check in was a breeze, this company continue to deliver a customer 1st experience. Plus prices are competitive and fair. I recommend Alamo when you travel, they make it fun again!

Made a reservation over the phone with an agent. Flew here. Then was told that I couldn’t rent a car and they didn’t know why. Now I am stranded at the airport with absolutely no help whatsoever. Worst (attempt) at a rental experience I’ve ever had. 10/10 would never recommend to my worst enemy. Airport also has a very strange and unpleasant smell to it for some reason…

The rep at the FWA airport was extremely helpful, but his hands were tied. I believe his name was Brandon. The Alamo 800 number customer service representatives reserve vehicles that the local branch does not even carry. Make sure that you call the local branch before showing up to take the care you think you reserved, especially if you rented a truck.Why make a reservation if it does not matter?

Currently trying to price gouge me for returning to a different location- it’s suddenly hundreds of dollars more when I was told by their rep it was a $5.00 fee to change.

Nothing but a joke!!!!! What is the point of prepaying if you have to a major credit card??? If I have to have a major credit card and a $300 security deposit dont you think they should tell you that???

Tried to Rent a car when my flight was canceled. They would not rent me one due to it being a one-way. Turned away a paying customer.

Horrible!!!! I was almost stranded at the Indianapolis airport!! I have used Alamo for years! I had reservations, no car, 3 children, 2 hours from my destination (Fort Wayne), and a front desk agent with an attitude!

Took the charge for a week off our debit card would not give us the car without a credit card even though they charged our debit card.

Very nice however I reserved a premium vehicle and there were not any. I called to exchange the next day but still were not any. I was told they would make it right when I returned but nothing was done, not even a price adjustment.
