I want to go on record for anyone needing help with their car, A-1 Automotive in Ft Wayne has really done a great job, help, and service to our family! Had our brakes go out by surprise! I was transporting a disabled and elderly Vietnam Veteran on a hot day. I called A-1, and they worked us in. Gave us a ride home, not always easy to do, but they did anyway. Fixed our car at a very fair reasonable price in a quick manner. We had no one here in town to help, they transported us back to pick up the car! They will look over and care for cars, and were very professional and awesome skill. Was so glad and relieved to find this group. Trustworthy people and smart mechanics!

Easy to get in quickly for an oil change, friendly service. The $60+ for the oil change (labor was billed at $19.95) on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra seems kind of high but not sure what's competitive in this market anymore.

I had a great experience with them when my coolant hose assembly hemorrhaged all of my coolant, on a hot day. Not only did they get me in quickly, the tow truck they recommended got to me quickly.
They got my part the next day, and fixed it in two hours of receiving it.
The price was fair, the service polite, and now that my fiancé has introduced me to them- they’ve got a long term customer from the both of us now.
10/10 your car and your wallet will be safe with them.

Called to have my car checked out. Let them know I planned to travel within 2 days. Due to my need to get the car taken care of on such short notice they told me I could drop my car off and they would get to it when they got a chance but 90% sure they could get it done that day. They did! Took my car in to have a wheel bearing changed as I thought this was where the noise I kept hearing was coming from. They checked my car out and was very honest with me letting me know it was just the tires. The fact that they were honest with me and didn't have me pay for work that didn't need to be done tells me everything about this place. I highly recommend. Also, this shop is VERY clean for a mechanics shop. Definitely A-1!

Very informative, very cost-effective, gave me a friend out of things that needed done and the cost which was very reasonable. Shuttled me to my appointment while they were working on my vehicle awesome! Just very friendly service also!

Oh! I had a wonderful experience with A-1 Automotive. Bill called and kept me up to date on services provided, and the staff was just friendly. I will definitely be taking my car to them for now on.

We needed to find a mechanic while we were in town for a few days. It is not always easy to fine someone who you can trust not to overcharge or find a million things that you need to "fix" on your car. I think we got really lucky with these guys! They were super friendly and didn't try to talk me into anything other than what they were asked to look at.
