Way back in 1968, I was having the safe combination changed at my new place of business. Mr. Mulhaupt advised me that his bank, Lafayette Bank & Trust, was the only one in Lafayette that had not closed during the Depression. That was good enough for me. Through a move to Flora in 1970, and the difficulty involved in using an "out of town" bank, I kept my account. Finally, B&T came to Flora (and to me.) Through these many years, I have never regretted using this bank for all of my financial needs. Just because there is a different name out front , the fine, personal service has never changed.
