I didn’t realize that when I brought my two dogs in to get their nails trimmed I was going to paid a higher amount for $54. No one told me this ahead of time.
It was less money if I had them groomed. But they didn’t need any grooming. Their nails need cut more often, than grooming. This is true for all dogs. The job took 5 minutes, yet I paid $54’. To me that is outrageous! ?

I recently took my two puppies to this vet and was really impressed by the great staff and service. The doctor was fantastic, and the team was super friendly and caring. I did have an issue with billing, where I was charged for the exams even though the website mentioned a free exam for new clients. However, they quickly resolved the issue once I brought it to their attention. It’s clear they truly care about pets and their clients. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a vet who goes the extra mile!

We received great care for our greyhound who needed to have a dental cleaning and a couple of tooth extractions. We were updated on her status shortly after the procedure and also received a call the following day to ensure she was doing well.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!!! Been going to this vet for 10+ years and never had any issue until now. Ever since new ownership they have raised prices to 2.5x the amount they used to be. Had 2 vaccines done on my dog and it came out to $400… Recently I tried boarding them which they have been before at this location and my dog growled once and they turned us away even after they walked him with no problem. Not to mention the receptionist was extremely rude from the moment I walked in. Extremely saddened and disappointed after all these years and with 5 different dogs that I will discontinue being a customer. You would think they would value your loyalty, but this is just a greedy owner taking advantage of us.

Love the family atmosphere of this vet! Staff did a great job of helping me understand what was being done to my cat and crafted a clear care plan!

Windemere Animal Hospital is the best vet care we have ever experienced! When you go there, you feel like you’re part of their family. They care and love your pets as much as if they were their own. They have helped us navigate both simple and complicated situations, including large dog surgery, and we are forever grateful. Highly recommend!

I have just started with Windermere Animal Hospital with my second dog. I love that they are in my neighborhood and within walking distance so we can drop in any time for a weigh-in a treat or a hello. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and I know that my puppy will receive the best care possible.

I brought my pup for the first time to see Dr Arnold and worked with his technicians Krista and Nicole. All very very friendly and spent a lot of time with us to get the whole picture of what was going on. I have a more anxious and high energy dog and they all were very calm and patient with him (and me) during the information gathering and exam. They followed up with me the next morning to check on my pup. We will be going back in a few weeks for his annual shots.

Good afternoon my dear friends. She is much better, the treatment that Doctor James prescribed has had a positive effect on her, she is happy, she is walking much better, and her mood is very good. Thank you for all her dedication and commitment to Blanca to ensure that her health is stable. God bless you

Ever since my kitten Simba was pocket sized, Windermere has been my go-to vet office should a vet visit be required. All of the staff that I've encountered have been absolute sweethearts. Being a first time cat owner, their insight is invaluable to me. For my latest visit, my cat had a urinary problem so I went in to have a look. In less than a day after the vet visit, my cat went from lethargic to being active and close to normal.
Edit: Simba is now at about 95%. Over time I did see more symptoms of a urinary issue. Some of which were pretty hard to watch. Especially for a first time cat owner. Windermere allowed me to call multiple times to give reports and chronicle what I've been seeing. They gave their honest opinions as to whether or not a visit before the scheduled follow-up appointment was needed. After each report, I was assured that another visit before the set date was not needed. I would have gladly paid hundreds for another visit if it was deemed needed, but instead of shilling who knows how much money out of me - they didn't. Definitely glad I chose to go here

Windermere Animal Hospital has treated our family’s pets for decades. I bring my cat here all the way from Bloomington because I trust the quality of care. Thank you to all of the staff, vet techs, vets at Windermere Animal Hospital!

I can't say enough positive things about the staff and facility. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The vet took his time explaining things and checking on my puppy. My pup got many treats and did not want to leave Ms. Rachel side, she was so kind and even taught us how to not tug on the leash! 10/10 experience!!!

If I could give them a negative rating I would. Horrible traumatizing experience. I brought my dog in due to a deep wound in her leg. I suggested stitches and the veterinarian said staples would suffice. So he put 5 staples in. Not to mention, during this whole process, I asked them to stop feeding meat treats as my dog has a sensitivity and this man basically ignored me and told me that’s not real. (Guarantee they went behind my back and kept feeding those treats). Once my dog received her staples, I was given zero instructions on how to properly care for it from then on. I asked if I should wrap it up and buy a cone, and he said “nah she’ll be fine”. So what do you know, she rips out all her staples. Then I go back to get them redone and there was still zero instruction. At this point, I googled what I should be doing. Then the gauze that I thought(no vet background) was a good idea became trapped in all her scabs. Then FINALLY after bringing her in for the third time, an actual knowledgeable lady gave me clear instructions and provided me with non absorbing gauze….. WELL WHAT DO YOU KNOW, I take her in to get staples removed a week later and they didn’t even know how many they put in, nor could they find them all. My poor dog still has a staple floating around in her because of the lack of care on their part. To make matters worse, they told me she should get on another full course of antibiotics(she was just on a 10 day course), so I had to pay another $100 for that. (Hundreds of dollars later to completely mess it up)
FYI I was just told by another vet clinic today that she doesn’t need another course, and they were just trying to get money out of me.
This experience was hell mentally, physically, and financially. 99% of the staff member there seemed immensely under qualified and not suitable to care for animals in any way. If you care about the well being of your pets, try another clinic.

I used to recommend this vet to everyone, but after being informed they will be raising their prices nearly 200% for "inflation" This is not the first time they've raised their prices and I've taken it in stride in the past as the increases were reasonable. However, it's become abundantly clear that whoever owns and runs this clinic is no longer in this for the sake of the animals but is rather just here for cheap profits. The staff that works here is lovely and I hope for their sake that the loss of clients I foresee happening because of this was worth the cheap cash grab. In the meantime, I believe a new veterinary practice may be in my near future.

Compassion is lacking. They are convenient and will send a sympathy card if a pet passes. However, miss important testing, unless you think to ask and minimal compassion for working with you as an individual. Running 20 minutes late for a neuter with their 4th in line dog today and they wouldn't wait even though he was just going in their crates. They see all of the pets as a symbol and sadly that has become $. Didn't used to be that way such a shame I didn't listen to my mom when she lost her dog due to lack of appropriate testing :-( . Getting out in time though.
