We like going to see the pets and pick up a treat for our dogs. Clean store with a great selection of pet supplies. The staff is always friendly too.

We were looking for a calming chew for our dog. I had been checking out alot of pet stores. When I decided to try a brand that petco carried. My husband called them and they had some in stock. We drove there and they already had it at the counter. The young lady was very nice. Very greatful for her help. She was just plain awesome. We'll definitely be back. It was just so fantastic to find a young lady to help us. Usually you can't hardly find anyone to help you now days. Again we were very pleased ?.

Patricia at Petco on 96th St. did a great job grooming our dog. It's just about the best price around and it was easy to get an appointment and check-in on grooming day was a breeze. Our boy can be a bit of a handful when grooming, but Patricia seems to have handled him just fine and she was friendly and helpful. He came out looking terrific.

I went in looking for light bulb replacements for my fish tank without knowing which lights I was looking for at all. The staff was very helpful!Unfortunately, the replacements I needed were from a product brand that Petco did not carry. However, they did go above and beyond, by suggestions of where I could get what I needed elsewhere.

Wow Petco Fishers wow.So my 8 week old puppy began classes at this store for two reasons 1. To socialized with other vetted puppies and 2) our learning how to to train him in basic instruction. We signed up for the puppy bundle which is level 1 and level 2. Lizzy was our assigned trainer for level 1. we will not be going on to level 2 with them.First issue: there seemed to be no real direction or structure with the class scheduling. Yes we were able to select a time slot but when I asked today when it was scheduled to end Lizzy the trainer said she was unable to tell me because it “keeps changing” ? I’m not even sure how Petco could that level of disorganized but it was eye opening to hear. Next problem: poor trainer attendance. My puppy missed 2 classes due to either the trainer being late and notifying us to disregard to sign on the store saying the were closed due to staffing issues until after his class time. She called (and I got the impression expected us to come back) after the scheduled class start time. Next the trainer took vacation and there was no offer for someone else to cover her class. When I raised the issue Lizzy seemed surprised that there was an issue to correct. So for the remainder of the time we were in class is was a never ending dialog back and forth about making the class up- finally I told her we need scheduled dates in a calendar to cut down the confusion. As an aside I also informed her that we would not be going onto the level 2 class at Petco due to distance. Somehow between her and the GM then decided that meant no catch-up classes were possible any longer and that they would refund both. Reason given was since I was dissatisfied with the trainer, but when I asked the GM where she got that impression for when the reason I cited was distance of the class to our home. GM then went on the say they must have gotten confused ? We both know the trainers ego was bruised when I called her out on not being able to fufill the missed sessions and failure to submit the training recaps that are due weekly (they always came 4 days after class and 3 days before the next which really cut done on the time we had to recap before the next class). Anyway, I told the GM they had made it weird to get this simple piece of business done and I would indeed take the refund and choose another trainer (no sweat already had one I was comparing in mind).My point was this was not a professional experience and certainly not handled with my dogs best interests in mind. It came across as real sleazy in fact. Owners who are seeking dog trading need things to be structured and supportive. Not chaotic and lazy. I kinda figured this would be iffy. I never saw anyone else training their dogs there any time I visited and I got the impression their classes, at the time I was attending, were pretty empty. Upside my dog found out he loves pumpkin treats!!!

Cashier(also did aquatics) was the only friendly/helpful employee. The rest of them will ignore, roll their eyes at you, and pretend to be busy with their ear buds in. So unprofessional! Really disappointed I have to now go out of my way to another pet store.

Finding help is impossible. Forget about getting a bag now too, unless you want to pay for it. I'm done. I won't shop somewhere that makes me pay for a bag.Edit: Their response is pathetic and just caused me to downgrade them to a one star. Had they done any actual research, they would find they are very misguided. They are merely virtue signaling at this point to appeal to a certain portion of the population. No one wants to BUY a bag nor should they have to. Not to mention, if they were truly a health and wellness company, they wouldn't sell some of the junk that's in their stores. This response is a cop-out. It tells me all I neeed to know about this company. We won't be back.
