Shady shady shady business practices. Their cancellation policy is designed to rob you. Read the other reviews all saying the same things. After multiple attempts over multiple months, I STILL was unable to cancel. And then they charged me more than double out of nowhere!!! After dealing with this since August, I still cannot get a response from any one of authority there. They truly just don’t care about their customers. At all. I’ve told all my friends and a handful have already, or are getting ready to cancel. People need to be aware. The staff is terrible, no one cares about how this location is ran and it shows. Avoid at all costs!!

Love it. Great equipment (they have just about everything) but could use a few more weight trees for racking plates.

I love this gym. The only thing I would change is the extremely loud Christian rap music that plays. It's extremely loud. I'd prefer silence over the music that's playing.

I was a customer at mei for about a year. I went to their Fishers location and Keystone location and only had great things to say about it until recently. The facilities were nice, 24 hours etc etc. In February my debit card had fraud, and I hadn’t been to the gym in awhile so I went in to go ahead and cancel my membership. Earlier this week I received a call from their 3rd party payment company trying to collect $109 from me. I informed them multiple times that I had cancelled my membership months ago. The lady didn’t even consider that maybe someone on the MEI staff had misplaced my cancellation receipt or forgot to end my account. She’s harassed me for days now about paying this bill that I shouldn’t even have to pay. Sounds like MEI needs a better filing system and needs to talk to their payment company about speaking to former customers a little more respectfully. Never again will I step foot in a MEI gym or ever recommend their facilities to anyone.

Great gym, good equipment and great people. Just wish they would do day passes. Either way, would recommend

The guy at the front desk is rude. You can only cancel in the building even if in the phone you have made it clear you don't like or want to continue being at mei. I changed my card number and they still r adding up the bill. Haven't been there in 3 months. Terrible place

This place is amazing. It has a bunch of equipment. The treadmills even have fans! It's also a 24 hour gym. The best one I have seen out of all the ones I tried looking at! Definitely recommend you try it. However, it doesn't offer daily gym passes or I would rate it 5 stars. I only took two pictures while I was there unfortunately :(. I may add more pictures later though!

One star review. I was turned away from buying a day pass and referred to lifetime fitness. Just tried to work out and support the business but they didn't want my $.

I canceled the membership three months ago and after giving me one call saying the last payment didn’t go through they kept my account open without letting me know and I have $300 I have to pay. They didn’t work with me at all!

Sam at MEI Fitness on 96th street in Fishers is fantastic. I was transferred from the 800 number with a billing and key tag issue. Sam was super helpful and professional. He answered all of my questions and continued to help me even tho I was pretty upset. Thank you Sam and than you MEI Fitness.

The gym is fine. The problem is with management. I called in approximately a month after getting my membership letting them know that I had sustained an injury and needed to cancel. I just got a call today informing me that I owe over $100 and that they are going to keep calling me until I pay it. They said you were not allowed to cancel your membership and less you physically show up to the location. They do not care if you are injured or if you are unable to make it to the location. They are strong army me into payments even though I have begged to get out of the relationship. I highly discourage anyone from spending any money with this business.

man who owns the facility yelled at someone trying to go in to get a membership for “trespassing” when half the people in there were not members , yelled profanely at us and recorded us for trying to join his gym. definitely never EVER going again.

Great gym, great equipment. Down side you can only tan during staffed hours. And the last issue is at night you have younger members sneaking in their friends and they usually stand and in front of dumbbells flexing. And in some cases there's a camera and tripod in the way. This gym used to have that old school vibe with modern equipment. people cant follow rules that are In big bold letters on the wall. shirtless group training? On that note can you at least wipe your bare back sweat off the bench/machine?? . Idk what's going on with this gym lately. It was near perfect once upon a time. Now it seems like anything goes.

Don't buy a membership here. Owner is an out of touch peaked in the military type of special. Says it's veteran owned but he dosent care about people in the military. A buddy came home on leave and was told he'd have to pay the membership price and a cancelation fee after his 2 weeks. The owner brags about how its a "members only" club but the place is only slightly better than a YMCA. The equipment is decent but that's because the owner charges a 35 dollar annual fee that is hidden in baffling amount of paperwork to "maintain equipment" that will sneak up on you and mess with your money. The owner can't take criticism if you don't review with a 5 stars stroking his ego they'll cancel your membership on the spot which he's very active on reading reviews. The cancelation process is a joke and shows how out of touch the owner is by having you come in to tell them you don't want to workout there anymore. Mei fitness you pay gold gym prices for ymca quality also owner bumped up his prices from 40 to 45 because of "inflation" which dosent make any sense. Do not come here.

I would never sign up at Mei Fitness again or recommend anyone else to. The company has a cancelation policy designed to rob you by making it the most difficult and inconvenient process. I sent written notice to cancel my membership as instructed by their rep, months later I am still being charged for a service I haven't used in 5 months. Yet another company that is supposed to be about promoting health and wellness, but is really about taking people's money.
