Love going here because of the selection of fresh and organic foods. Prices are high but not really higher than most other places. Can find excellent deals if you shop the sales. Love their meat seems better quality than the bigger stores. And their have a great selection of milks and other dairy items.

As someone who usually shops at Kroger due to its convenient location, I decided to give Fresh Thyme a try this week (7/7/24) because they had a sale on crab. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
When I arrived at the store, I found that the crab was out of stock. This was frustrating, but I thought I could resolve the issue by asking for a raincheck. However, the staff refused to give me a raincheck for the sale price. Instead, they only offered a raincheck for the non-sale price. This is absurd—why would anyone want a raincheck at full price?
This feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. Advertise a great sale to lure customers in, but when the item is out of stock, refuse to honor the sale price. It's a misleading practice that shoppers should be aware of. If you're planning to buy something on sale at Fresh Thyme, be prepared for the possibility that it won't be available and you won't get the advertised discount later.
I’m posting this as a warning. Stay away from Fresh Thyme if you're expecting to get sale items. They seem to stock very limited quantities, and their policies are not customer-friendly. This experience has definitely turned me off from ever shopping there again.

Feels like a supermarket from back home in the country, pricier than a lot of places yet worth it to avoid the cold corporate atmosphere most other grocery stores have.Selection of products is incredible and there's a ton of stuff you won't find elsewhere.Extremely robust selection of vegan and vegetarian replacement options and they're everywhere in the store rather than a designated section.

Please bring back the Ahi Poke in the fresh seafood counter. The meat manager said he was gonna start re-ordering it and said several people have had the same request. A month later..still no Ahi Poke :( Staff has definitely been downsized and it’s difficult to find someone to assist. I think this is essential in the vitamin/supplements section.

On my visit today, there was only one regular check-out open. There were several self check-outs open. I will not use self check-outs.

I was in there minding my own business and this Thyme walked up to me and started getting fresh. I was flattered, but it wasn't my type.

Great selection of produce and gluten free items. It's my go.to place and the produce guy is amazing. Jill is also great but there's a lot of bad customer service at the check out. Mike and Charlene are grumpy and Mike's difficult to deal with. Stacy was awesome and she quit. I feel that Mike is spoiling my daily excitement for grocery shopping. I will try the location on 82nd more often. Management doesn't do anything about the grumpiness. I even tried handing out Christmas treat bags to show my appreciation to the cashier's.

I like this chain of stores because they carry a wide selection of healthy organic Etc... Lately I have been having trouble with I go to work an hour away in Indianapolis and so I stop by this store on the way to work and I'm usually there you know 15 minutes before close and I'm pretty quick about getting my stuff done but it seems like every time I'm in there I'm kind of forced out. I've noticed before the story even closes they lock the front door they did that tonight it was 5 minutes before the store closed I was done shopping and had finished everything and I was on my way out in the door was locked 5 minutes before the store actually closes. This is quite rude if you ask me. I don't know if it is the crew that is responsible or if it's corporate pressures but they should book people for closing which would include staying over which would include covering whoever gets in the store before it closes. It just seems like customer service takes second or third place... Oh is well this store has like all automatic registers except for one Island which contains two manned checkout Lanes which usually only has one person on it whenever I come in late but maybe that's different during the day. As well I have an issue with that they put their scented candles no matter if they're organic or Yankee candle which contains a bunch of synthetic stuff they put that right next to the water in this place. I understand it might be difficult to find the right place and maybe some people don't think about that but you know you look on these Waters and it says store in a place without a bunch of odor because the seals on these waters are not perfect and they will take on odors flavors from whatever they're stored around if left for a while. I initially wanted to rate because of my experience the past few times I've been in there when it's been somewhat late being shoot out essentially I wanted to give them a lower rating but I think that would be unfair so I gave them three stars... there's room for improvements. As for you know closing and wanting to close I completely get it I've worked retail many times but whenever I've worked retail we've usually you know been expected to honor the customers that have made it into the store I've worked in the restaurant industry the same thing happens - people come in 20 minutes before closing we sigh we don't like it we want to go home but we do our best to put on a nice face and we serve them.
