My daughter has been at Dolce for about a month now, she absolutely loves it! Teachers are all very nice and the director and Assistant Director are on top of things!

Horrible center. Leadership doesn't know how to operate a level 4 facility, that's probably why they level is a 1 and that's a red flag. They pay people pennies to work there and that's why the turnover rate is so high. Not a good place for kids or teachers.

I absolutely LOVED this daycare and so did my son. My son started going here when I needed to finish up school nearby. I would get great reviews on my son’s behavior and how easy it is to deal with him. My son would learn a lot from this daycare and apply it to home. He knows how to clap his hands, snap his fingers and say actual words! As his time here came to an end I almost shed a couple of tears. It’s hard finding a daycare that is the best fit for your child, and this was the one.

Old building and poor lights inside. I felt like in a garage or grandma house. Everything looks so old.I loved the teacher who sang a French song. The only teacher that act like good teacher and love what she is doing there. I visited about 10 daycares.

The most amazing place for a child. Hi, I’m Shawna and the current director at Dolce. I began my Dolce journey almost 7 years ago. I was a stay at home mom looking to get back into the working world. My son was 2 at the time and had many health struggles and I needed a safe place for him and a place where I could be close by.I walked into Dolce and was welcomed with open arms. They also wanted to meet my son and he was welcomed with open arms. I began my journey there as a 2 year old teacher and slowly grew and blossomed. After a year and a half in the 2’s room, I was asked to complete my CDA credential and become a lead 3’s teacher, and with their help and support I did just that. I was a 3’s teacher for 2 years and then an opportunity opened up in the office and I was asked to be the administrative assistant and eventually the assistant Director. I did this role for about a year when I was asked to become a director. I have currently been the director for almost 2 years. Our school is unique and most definitely not your average daycare!Come see us and learn the Reggio Emilia Way and fall in love with Dolce as I have.

I have worked at dolce daycare and preschool for the last eight years . This august will be my nine year anniversary. Dolce daycare and preschool is a Reggio Emilia based program where children learn thru play. I love watching the children grow thru play. And base my lesson plans on the interest of the children . It makes my day to hear all the child in my current care and previous care say my name and run to me

This is an amazing place. Teachers are like a family and they are so nice and kind with my son. They are flexible and always try to fix any problem facing us. They really care about children’s talent especially painting and decorating. I am a picky person and I always ask question to make sure my son is fine. But, they always listen. My son also love the place, all teachers, and his friends.

We love Dolce Daycare & Preschool! Every morning, my daughter is excited to see her teachers and play with her friends. Most times she doesn't even look back before she is off and toddling through the atelier. I feel connected with her learning goals and achievements through daily updates on Tadpoles. And sometimes when I'm missing her, I can watch her on the Watch Me Grow classroom camera. Overall, I adore the Dolce staff for the love and respect that are given to both me and my daughter. We are excited to watch her grow and learn in ways that can only be provided in a warm and compassionate learning environment.

Our son has been there since 12 weeks old. We love the place, the teachers are warm and creative and it feels like the best parts of a home daycare and a center in one. Our son is so well taken care of and gets tons of outdoor time, creative play and one on one attention when needed and the ladies running the place are so sweet and accommodating.

Extremely satisfying to say the least. My son started day care after he was 18 months and we were apprehensive about how he would adjust. The teachers and leadership there made it so easy and fun for my kid. We left Indiana but my son still remembers the teachers and their care. Thank You Dolce.

I have 3 children at this daycare.Dolce is phenomenal. (This review addresses some of the negative reviews with context and truth). My children used to go to an in-home Daycare that was wonderful. When we moved to Indiana we had a hard time finding an option up to our standards. We wanted a loving environment that encouraged learning and provided avenues for my children to grow socially. We finally found Dolce and have been so impressed! Here are just some of the reasons we feel this way:-They empower the kids to learn in student centered, self directed, experiential methods, using the Reggio-Emilia Approach. This artistic child lead theory is why the art room looks “disorganized” as one person reviewed. Any artist knows that doing any sort of art will require lots of materials and space to create. If you don’t know about this method please google it!!—They teach without using screens, you pay for real play based learning not the screens really being the babysitters like some other establishments!!— One reviewer a “bystander” says that the teachers are aggressive and yell at children. The actual situation is that the child was bullying and physically hurting another child and they intervened. They do not stand for this behavior. I am VERY glad that they take appropriate action in these situations. Their staff brings management out to make sure it is always handled appropriately. Also they have cameras everywhere, where the parents can watch what is going on. The passerby has taken a moment out of context.— In addition to the video monitors, there is an app where the teachers post photos and videos of your child playing and doing activities that you can look at later. I love this as it helps start conversations with my kids about what they did that day.-We have strict allergy diets for the kids and they could accommodate— My children love going here they feel loved my the staff, they made a tough transition of moving to Indiana much better for them!In summary, this is the place I would recommend to anyone who wants their child/children to be cherished, to be taught (not just distracted), and to grow socially.Worth every penny!

I'm only a bystander, but from what I see happening on the playground I would not send my child there nor would I recommend this place to anyone. I am near this daycare a few times a week visiting nearby businesses. Today, I saw a few ladies who I believe are staff continue to yell at a little girl, maybe 4. It was loud enough to catch my attention. The tone and gestures and the way the situation was being handled is not how I would want my child to be cared for or any child, which is why I am posting this review. I am praying the situation didn't escalate once the girl was taken inside. Steer clear of this place!

Don't be fooled! The male owner is a violent psychopath who thinks an acceptable way to do business is to yell at a woman holding an infant then kick the child out because we called them on being too physically aggressive with children. I see why the teachers feel it is ok to pull children around and pull them around physically restraining them or forcing physically to sit. Of course they feel that kind of behavior is ok if the owner is that out of control and yelling in a daycare. I'm thankful they had cameras live streaming and I was able to catch the behaviors of teachers being too rough with children I would have been ignorant and continuing to send my child the thinking it was a great place and a safe place. Be wary of where you send your children. If they have camera watch them! I pray no children are seriously injured or have long term social damage from from being treated that way by adults they should feel safe with. Not to mention my daughter had like 9 different teachers in the 5 months she was there. Maybe there is a reason they can't keep teachers. On 3 separate occasions I caught them during live streaming restrain my child or pulling her around roughly. Because she didn't obey a command at 2 years old. This is how they "care" for your children. This is what they are "teaching" your children. When trying to bring my concerns forth. I was confronted and yelled at by the owner while I had my 7 month daughter with me. I had to ask to leave the office because he was blocking the door and yelling at me . It was terrifying! I have never in my adult life been yelled at my an adult male! I was absolutely terrified as I quickly got my infant in her carseat and tried to get my children and myself away from this man. Then he kicked my child out of the school! (Not that she would ever go back after that scene) For a place that is Christian I have never seen a Christian man behave that way in front of a woman and child. Stay away. Don't be fooled by the location, fake smiles, and pretty decor.

We loved sending our daughter here. She attended for 2 years and grew close to all her teachers and staff. Julie and Erin were great with communication. Our daughter looked forward to attending each day.
