8/8/23 I placed an online order with the Crown Liquors appEmployee Chris Russo refused to give me my order when I arrived at the store.He insisted that I log into my credit card account, even though I already received confirmation of my order and my purchase. This was verified both on the app and the text messages.When I told him I wasn't going to login into my account 1) because I've used the app before for an order and didn't have to log into my credit card account & 2) my wife has the account set up under her name. Chris would not take this as an answer and kept asking "well, why can't you log into it?" multiple times.Then I said to cancel the online order.He did.Then he insisted on looking at my credit cardAfter examining my credit card, he insisted on seeing my id.This was AFTER I cancelled the order.Then when I went to pay for the same product, he once again insisted on examining my credit card and ID for a second time. Then Chris insisted on seeing a third card with my name on it.When I asked him if every customer goes through this, Chris responded that since I couldn't log into my credit card account he wanted to make sure I was who I said I was. I asked, you ask every customer to log into their credit card account in front of you? He said no, only if you order online. I pointed out that we just canceled that order and that now I should be treated like any other customer with a credit card & ID.At this Chris became upset that I was challenging him on his customer service. He then demanded that I leave the store. I had not raised my voice nor used inappropriate language. I was only asking him questions. I didn't even accuse him of anything. I just asked questions.

Conviently located off of I-69 and 116th street, this liquor store has a pretty good selection of beer, wine, and hard alcohols. The staff are very friendly, and pretty knowledgeable about the products they carry.

Most of the cashiers are decent, which is why I’m giving it two stars, but there is a younger lady with glasses who is incredibly rude and should not be in any type of customer facing roll.

Great selection, with good prices and nice people…what is not to like. It’s not big but it has a lot to choose from. We found some great wines <$20. We also needed ice but we had to drive another 20 minutes so the nice people at the front desk put it in a garbage bag for us which was really helpful!VictorB
