It's very close to home, so when I need a few things I don't have to go to the Big store. Very convenient. Only this location carries the Great Value wheat bread that I like also.

The store employees shopping for online customers will run over you and they're constantly leaving their cart in the way of in store shoppers. Check out is rarely open but plenty of employees doing nothing at self check. I honestly don't know how Walmart is as large as they are because their service is non existent.

I have had so many bad experiences at this location. They are either out of stock, both in the pharmacy and in store, don't have the item needed, or it is locked up(highly needed every day items) and you have to wait for a long time for service to get access then they take it up front and you wait even longer to be able to check it out. Their self check is one of the worst I've ever delt with as well. So many bad experiences have added up through this location,others in the area, online and the app, I've decided to be done with Walmart as a whole.

Shopping session went quick.. Was a bit cluttered, I'm assuming because of stock. No wait at the check out tho so that's definitely a plus.

Best place on the north side of town to get cat and dog food. Best prices and selection anyway. The store is usually well stocked, plenty of parking including handicapped parking. I've never ran across any store employees that weren't helpful, or less than polite and professional. Alot of their prices are fairly competitive with other grocery type stores in the area of First avenue here in Evansville. The store is pretty clean considering how many customers they have every day, all day. Their baked goods at this store are a little pricey as well as their produce areas. I'd spend more money there if they were a bit more reasonable, but it'd be easy to find whatever you were looking for.

Im terribly disappointed that my very own my neighborhood store (i live 5 blocks from it) currently has a store manager named Anthony, who was just unpleasant, unfriendly, and unprofessional!
Not that it matters, but, I spend OBSCENE amounts of money here! & HAVE for the last 7yrs! Im a LOYAL REGULAR! Smh & to be treated like I was GARBAGE is UNACCEPTABLE.
This man needs to be retrained &/or replaced with a MGR who ENJOYS his position! Who LOVES helping his customers!! I demand an investigation into his conduct and would very much appreciate speaking w someone higher up on the team. This guy actually just DARED To treat me like I was GARBAGE!! & did NOT care that I was insulted & VERY unsatisfied!!
Smh all he cared about was “THE STORES CLOSED!!” ???♀️??♀️
( I’ll gladly give a statement on the incident once I am contacted by someone of a higher authority on the Evansville 1st Ave Neighborhood Walmart Mgmt team.)

Nice clean even when you go by the fruits it even smells so good when I pass the chicken smells so fresh and the air make you want to buy it even the bread I give this place 10stars I love the staff ever body always have a good Spirit

Walmart Neighborhood market on 1st Ave personnel are friendlier than east and west side. These two young ladies were a great help. The one in the red went and swapped out stuff I did not have. I am disabled.
