Lacking in customer service. Employees passed by us (in the perfume department) without any acknowledgement at all. Finally had to ask to make purchase. Then waited in a line of 6 customers. Each transaction took as long as opening a home loan.

This is the second time in the last month I have had a terrible experience with this Ulta location.
I got there this morning right as the doors were unlocked to return a product and purchase some more items for Christmas gifts.
There were no customers at the registers due to the fact that I was the first one in the store. I walked up and stood at the register an employee was at.. she looked at me on 3 different occasions and walked off talking to the other employee that was back there. I stood there for 5 minutes and she never said a word to me. She just stood there, looked at me, then asked the other employee if she needed help. I was about to ask if someone could actually help me, then another customer walked up and the employee automatically asked her if she was ready to checkout! She had to walk by me to get to the register! I was furious at this point that I was not helped and she just ignored me. After she was done with the other customer I walked up and sat my return down and she took it. As for the items I planned to purchase, I changed my mind and went to Sephora. I would rather give my money to a company that appreciates it.
I am seriously considering cancelling my Ulta credit card at this point.

My mom had a makeover there yesterday, and she walked away crying even though she wouldn’t show it. They used bare minerals products on her. Who has used those since the 90s? She had foundation streaks running down her face. The woman didn’t even know what to get, so she had someone else pick out the products. We left with none of the products they used, and came back to get products recommended by my lgbtq friends. She was so upset, we won’t be back. The artist was completely incompetent. Donna was the artists name.

Made an appointment to get my bridal makeup done here about a month and a half in advance. Got a call yesterday (four days before my wedding) that their system messed up and they actually have no one available to do my makeup. Did not seem too concerned that they are putting me in a terrible position. Do not book here for special occasions.

Good luck selling any fragrances now ulta. Everything is locked up, including all testers with no employees in sight.

Always super informative & helpful. I spoke with a girl named Katelyn behind the counter and we had a great conversation. Katelyn went above and beyond in customer service! She showed interest in having real conversations and proved that she saw me as a human being rather than just another sale. The world needs more people like her! Highly recommend this Ulta location.
