I never leave bad reviews on any business but I felt like I needed to on this one due to the severity of the situation. Came in with my 12 year old daughter to get a slight trim and curtain bangs. The trim was fine even though the stylist wanted to take about 4 inches off, which we declined. When it came to the curtain bangs, she cut them straight across to her eyebrows. My daughter was in tears as curtain bangs are completely different than regular bangs. The kicker was when the stylist said I misworded it, asking for curtain bangs. I argued that this is not at all what my daughter wanted and we went back and forth about who was right. I finally said, I just want to get my daughter out of here and leave. It’s now 3 days before the start of her new school year and she has to go to school with Dora the Explorer bangs. Luckily another salon fixed what they could and gave her tips on how to hide it, apologizing to my daughter for Penney’s mistake, agreeing that what they did was not ok. I do have to say a big thank you to the manager for calling me directly and apologizing, even though it was not her mistake. She was very kind and understanding. My daughter still has to live with this though, as trivial as it may seem. I post to help warn others that if you come here and ask for curtain bangs, please please please make sure they understand what that entails.

Definitely reccommend going here if you’re like me and need an impromptu unjudged visit. Christian was amazing, gave me the cut I wanted and styled it and made it a great experience.

Kyle Kennedy did my Granddaughters hair and he was absolutely wonderful!!! She says she wants him everytime she gets her hair cut

Lisa Marie is BEYOND AMAZING! Her skills are so spectacular and her beautiful personality just radiates! She was an absolute JOY to find to meet and to experience the masters of her craft! The haircut and her suggestions were just beautifully perfect! I definitely look forward to returning to her! She is an ABSOLUTE STAR!

Olivia is absolutely incredible!! She asked me sufficient questions about my hair in order to give me the perfect cut and style that I was looking for and that looked great on me! She’s cheerful, communicative, passionate, and talented! I’ve never left a salon feeling so confident and happy about my haircut! Thank you Olivia!!

Bailey is an amazing stylist. She has cut and colored my two daughters, and my hair for over a year. She listens to the clients wants and needs. I will recommend her every time! She is a 100/10 that’s why she is saved in my phone as Bailey The Best ?♀️

As a 1st time customer of the salon, I’m very impressed! I had the privilege to sit in Kyle’s chair and man, where to begin. I came to Kyle with a head full of problems, lol! From noon til 5p he worked his magic and I was blown away! Not only is he very talented, he’s the sweetest and I even got him to laugh a few times! Kyle, thanks for the kind uplifting words when I broke down, the amazing job you done with my hair and for being easy to talk too! I’m definitely YOUR client now and I’m so glad that I found you!!!!

My stylist was the amazing Kyle Kennedy, I had my hair colored Dusty Blue and cut short Kyle did an awesome job. He is so patient with his clients and he really listened to me on how I wanted my haircut and styled. I am definitely ? coming back to JC Penny Salon to see Kyle Kennedy!!

Bailey is amazing! I have dark brown hair almost black and she did a miracle on me! I hadn’t done my hair in about a year and a half and she took the challenge and did wonders on my hair! I love it!
