I’d give negative stars if I could, every single time I go there some issue pops up. I just tried to deposit my check and get 100$ of it back in cash and they told me I couldn’t do that, I had to either pay the fee for immediate availability and then deposit the remaining amount or just deposit the whole thing and not get my 100$ and it’d be available tomorrow. They also told me any of the other 5/3 banks would be the same way (which I know isn’t right, I get cash off my deposit all the time) . I went to the st joe bank and asked for the exact same thing and got my 100$ in cash and the rest deposited to my account in 2 minutes. They’re always screwing me over there. You all should reimburse me for gas and time because this isn’t the first time this has happened. Horrible bank branch.

*Warning* I did some light work fork someone who banks at Fifth Third. The wrote me a $40 check for payment. I went by their bank to cash the check. They wanted to charge me a $5 fee to cash the check written off her personal account at her bank. So from here out if she wants to write a check (or anyone else who banks there) they will have to pay an additional $5. Other banks do not do this. Just a heads up if looking for somewhere to open an account.

This bank makes me hate banks and see why the older generation feels like banks are untrustworthy and steal your money. Never have I ever been charged over 100 dollars for an overdraft fee. I budget. And they just made it very difficult to pay my rent this month not that they would ever bat an eye at the fact that it’s my hard earned money they’re taking. Charging people for being broke is like putting someone who can’t pay a bill in jail until they do. Pointless and malicious.

I can’t believe that , I just walk in to that fifth third bank on 5344 Pearl Dr, Evansville, IN 47712 , and there’s only one customer that a banker is serving , and there’s a skinny a lady I forgot to ask her for her name that walk up to me asking me , how can she help me ? I told her I would like to open an account, she looked at me and a way and told me that , there’s only one banker here and she’s helping a customer , and to be clear guys there’s only 2 of us as a customer in there which is I’m next after that customer, and that skinny lady told me , to go and come back Monday , that’s what I get for being black . Thanks fifth and third bank.
