Not a 24 hour location like they advertise online. Horrible customer service in the pharmacy. Sometimes you show up and they're closed randomly or the drive thru is closed because employees didn't show up for work.

I needed my medicine late last night, but it was closed. I came back today and couldn’t get my medicine again because they were closed from 12-2 pm. At least change your hours from being a 24hr location.

According to the sign posted on the front door, as of 6/7/24, no longer a 24 hour location. Please change your hours on Google!

They were very quick which was good but everyone there seemed to be in a bad mood. I was getting very rude vibes from both the pharmacists that helped me. Everyone there seemed to hate their lives and hate all the customers that came up to them. Maybe they need like a raise or something to convince them to be more friendly.

I've used CVS for my prescriptions for years now. I am changing to another pharmacy with a different company. The last time I went to drop off a prescription, I was treated exceptionally rudely by a heavy set guy who said he was Kyle. He snatched my paperwork from me and told me since I wanted to wait that it's going to be an hour to an hour and a half to get 10 pills filled that were non narcotic, just anti nausea meds. It was bad enough that I didn't even go pick them up. I have about 10 or so prescriptions I get filled every couple of weeks or month and I've been a loyal customer for years until this last straw. CVS in Evansville is trash regardless of which store you choose. Go to Lincoln if you want the employees to follow you around trying to hurry you through the store, or the west side and they are just so rude you never want to go back. Thanks Kyle! I pray Jesus comes into your heart. Anyone who is that upset all the time has problems and I'm not sure he wasn't on something himself.

Probably THE worst pharmacy I’ve ever been at. I come to pick up a prescription that was to be ready today. Get here and was told I needed to call it in first. It’s not ready. It was called in last month for pickup today. Not hard, right? WRONG!! Now mind you I had to stand at the counter for several minutes before the large girl who is sitting there doing everything else but waiting on customers, acknowledges me rudely. This is NOT the first time I’ve dealt with her. She was rude last month when I was here and she was doing the same this time. I leave and come back an hour later to pick it up and guess what? It’s not ready. So here I sit waiting on them to fill it. According to them, they’re expediting it. What? Another effin hour. Don’t do business here same your time and your sanity by going elsewhere. This place is a effin joke.

Extremely rude pharmacist. Had a question about medicine availability over the phone and when I wasn’t sure about something the woman on the other end laughed and hung up on me. I know there’s two sides to every story and she could’ve been having a bad day, but if you are going to work in a medical field you should maybe be willing to answer medical questions? Edit: apparently the question was valid because another person picked up when I called back he was able to help and answer within 1 minute. Added a star for that guy lol

Store advertises that it is open 24 hours but it is definitely not.. Multiple times in the past month they have been closing at 11pm.

I just experienced a pharmacist copping an attitude with someone picking up DEPRESSION MEDICATION for NOT PICKING IT UP FAST ENOUGH. Like, if there ever was a prescription that signals "maybe this person has underlying reasons for not being super on the ball" it's frigging depression meds. The pharmacy in this CVS is beyond saving at this point.Got a job with weird hours? Got a disorder that might make it difficult to be timely on that 14 day period prescriptions are held on the shelf? You CANNOT trust the text from CVS that says "today is your last day to pick up the RX. Turns out, at this location, day shift puts them away "as soon as possible" because they're "short staffed" in the evenings and don't want the extra chore.I have had prescriptions here. I have friends and family that have had prescriptions here. I've weathered COVID with this location. Something happened about six months to a year ago that caused this pharmacy to fling itself off a cliff. Everything from customers service to med availability has been absolute garbage since then, it's almost farcical.Among other things, I personally have witnessed: day shift putting pills away early then getting upset when asked to re-fill the prescription they weren't supposed to put back. I've seen hormone replacement therapy prescriptions magically disappear from the system, strongly suggesting someone working the day shift is quietly policing who gets access to prescribed medications because they don't like certain minorities. I've heard hormones described as "not life-saving" because an employee didn't want to dump pills they already had into a smaller bottle.This location is famously short-staffed, to the point you'll see other reviews pointing out this "24 hour" location has weird stacatto hours because they can't staff a full 24 anymore. My impression is the pharmacy crew has a few bad apples who are emboldened by the fact they can't be easily replaced, and it seems like that confidence is leading them to take out their own frustrations on the patients.Avoid this place at all costs. Drive across town for Costco, if you have to. This CVS has fallen on hard times and won't be able to get back up.
