“I'm grateful for the help I do receive when I go through them, but this experience that I'm going through OMG. The man called me and told me they are putting $1,00 on my account but the pledge is actually$811. They haven't even payed that and I called talked to the lady she told me that they don't usually pay that much. The pledge is just on my account no payment and I called haven't received any call back from them”

“One morning I had a lot of places to go and was in need of getting a job. The major problem was being able to get around and the bus or n on foot was looking to be my only choices.I had heard that Patch Work had given bikes away that was donated to them. Like new bikes. I walked over there and had asked and sure enough u was directed outback to where there was a variety of bikes and I was explained to pick a bike of my choice, fill out the paper work and the bike was mine. I couldn't believe it. It was like brand new. Before I knew it I was riding off on a brand new mountain bike that would have cost me atleast 3-400$. I was able to get a job and able to cover the whole town of Evansville in no time. Thank you once again Patch Work. I am still grateful.”

“Hadi Shrine Temple is a beautiful older venue in Evansville, IN. Shriners help with k8ds charities and they have a Hadi Shrine Circus at our Ford Center every Thanksgiving!!! I was there for a job assessment on the second floor. Nice venue for rental. Parties , dinners, etc. Has a ballroom dance floor. Probably built in the 1910's.”

“A great non-profit that helps others in need. Their focus is neighborhood revitalization, which is achieved through buying run down homes and completely remodeling them. Revived homes are made available to those in need for a below market value. It's a really great non-profit.”

“We’ve heard great things about this organization and we’re hoping they are all true. We are really needing food help right now. I’m scared for our family. Will come back and review after we visit them.”

“I was given a tour of this facility and I was absolutely enthralled (if anyone in corporate reads this, please consider extending a pay increase/promotion to Ms. Julie L, as she is the most patient and helpful person that I have encountered. Her aura radiated leadership, with patience right by its side).First, walking into the building the staff members Julie and Kristen were exhibiting kindness and were very inviting. Their energy radiated that of motivated, hopeful, and real employees as depicted in commercials representing the world if it was perfect.Upon applying for a membership, I was met with a guided understanding of the process all while not being treated any differently following the disclosure of my financial situation. This kind of service is exemplary and marks the level and quality of compassion that is needed in Evansville. Hope exists, here at 506 Court St.”

“There's no others like Quianna and Stacy being the mentors who are willing to go above and beyond by making sure this program will prosper in every way possible. We all got to love this duo without a doubt.”

“A very nice YMCA. Always seems clean. For the most part the employees seem like they have been trained to not speak to anyone. Have been there multiple times to watch my grandsons events, and I don't believe any employee has even looked or spoken to me. The instructors for my grandsons seem to be friendly, but anyone else seems to be very unfriendly. When you walk by the front desk there may be 3-4 people there and they don't even look at you or acknowledge you.I understand when the place is packed, as it is at times, but my last visit the place was pretty empty, and not one of them even looked up!!”

“If you need anyone to do PAC/DHI and day program for your loved ones, I strongly recommend this organization. Management is empathetic, person centered and they have the most caring staff. They also have a summer program for your teens called Teen Link that will leave them with lifetime memories. Great place to work as well, strongly recommended.”

“The Battleground 22 foundation and the founder, Greg Peete, has not only helped me achieve a service dog through the foundation, but he also handled my case delicately. I’m a survivor of MST and Greg was not only respectful in handling my case, but he also gave me the time I needed to get to know him first and gain my trust. I struggle with severe depression and suicidal ideations, Greg understood exactly why a service dog would benefit me, and also assured me I would be protected by this dog because I’ve been a victim of stalking and harassment from my ex, to the degree I don’t feel safe anymore. Greg goes above and beyond for his veterans, he checks in daily and make sure everyone is good and has a safe place. He has helped me achieve my fear of leaving my house and meeting other veterans with the help of his service dog, Rip, making sure I was okay the whole time. The foundation and trainers take their time to make sure you are paired with the right dog for your specific needs. I’m looking forward to the progress my service dog will help me achieve, Battleground 22 gave me a sense of purpose in life again and the will to stay on the road of healing. It is also nice to have that reinforcement that you have that family of veterans that you can reach out to at any time and will be there for each other no matter what. Thank you Battleground 22 foundation again. ❤️‍ Adding a picture of my service dog, Lilith.”
