Price is prohibitive for just preventative maintenance. Won't be long and the amount of people able to own dogs will diminish greatly. I still think doctor kilbane is a good vet but the business is run like a money hungry corporation now meant to drive away people who don't make a ton of money. They said if I can't afford to vaccinate all my animals (I have 4) then I'm no longer considered a client even though I've been taking all my animals there for years, then the cost of visits goes up by 20 dollars if you don't have the vaccination status. So if I get partial stuff done there and partial stuff done elsewhere to save a few bucks, they don't consider you a client at all and up the price, making it more prohibitive. It is a gross mentality.

Recently took my cat in due to sickness. I’ve been there before with another cat and they were amazing. So sweet, but this time I went was not the case. I went in forgetting to bring my cats medical records, which was my fault, but I knew basic things that they needed to know. I told them what I knew and the lady said okay and walked out. She then proceeded to speak very loudly, I’m not sure if she realized I could hear everything, basically calling me a liar. Saying “She said he doesn’t have this, but she doesn’t have proof so I don’t believe what she says” Her and the other staff including the vet attending to my animal proceeded to talk in mocking tones causing me to breakdown in tears. I understand it was my fault for not bringing in medical records and they can never be too cautious but I was already under tremendous stress and hearing all those rude things from behind the door really upset me. Out of the 5 or so people I interacted with, only one reassured me. Again, my fault for not bringing records, but make sure if you’re going to talk about your customers, that they can’t hear them. I don’t think i’ll be returning due to the stress I was put under.

They were able to get me in the same day I called for a new puppy appointment. Dr. Kilbane did an exceptional job explaining to me what I needed to do next and how to treat my pup. He was incredibly helpful and did not tire of my questions- and I appreciated it very much. The vet technicians were also very kind and they went over how to use the syringe with me and were very compassionate. It is also affordable. I will be switching my other dog over.

Very caring of my kitten Leo! The only vet around that was accepting patients, but I’m glad I went here! Kind enough to look at pictures over the phone to avoid a costly unnecessary visit :)

This office has an overwhelmingly kind and understanding staff. They very well equipped and will work with you to treat your pet with what you can afford. The techs are superb and knowledgeable. The docs are seasoned pros. Very empathetic and non judgemental staff. The have helped my dog and saved my cat 3 times. They may seem pricey but they are competitively priced not overpriced and again they will work with you to provide treatment so that you can afford to save your pet too. The quality doesn't go down if you elect for cheaper treatment options. They always do their best. I highly recommend them.

I just want to say I'm sitting here crying because my very loved and loyal German Shepherd, Opie passed at 3:41am, December 17th, 2023. Maybe had Dr Killbbaine been more concerned about his welfare than the almighty dollar, he would still be by my side. I had Opie there a couple weeks ago and was charged 879 for I don't know what is wrong with him. Symptoms continued and I continued to contact them. He did mention an odd heart beat. For another 671, we could do cardiac work up. Payable that day. Any how, I took him to Princeton Vet Hospital. They were super nice and informative about everything going on. Also very reasonable costs. He was diagnosed with critical congestive heart failure. They explained he was not in a good state. Gave me medication to try and turn things around. Unfortunately, it was too late. I so wish I had known about Princeton Vet Hospital from onset of Opie' symptoms. I will NEVER use Advent Veterinary Services EVER again. I am so so sorry, Opie. Momma let you down.?

I really love this office! They had only seen my parents' dog twice, but when I called to cancel her appointment and let them know she had passed away at the ER vet, they sent a beautiful card signed by all the staff. It meant a lot to us and helped us during a difficult time. Also, they've been patient and great with my reactive dogs. Unlike other clinics where I had to use muzzles, they handle my pups really well. I'm grateful to have found such caring professionals!

Dr Kilbane is a fabulous Veterinarian who has passion for his profession. Unfortunately the business decisions of the clinic makes it difficult to like. Hard to get appointments that aren’t charged as emergency visit even though they are days later and the payment process is ridiculous. They expect you to walk in with hundreds in cash for an unknown bill or pay 3% for card use on a several hundred dollar bill. No checks accepted. If my dog wasn’t old, I would look elsewhere. Great staff but not customer friendly business model.
