Our 24 Thor Rize has exceeded our expectations and performs superbly.
A recent visit to Camping World in London, KY to address minor issues resulted in timely responses, repairs and superlative work from not only the London store but also from the Thor warranty division, that were extensively and intently involved. Thor communicated with us, followed up with me and ensured I was completely satisfied at every stage of work being performed.
I was impressed and thankful to London Camping World and Thor.
Not only do we have an amazing RV, we’re backed by an impressive team of expertise as we hit the road.
Well Done!
Only taking all of my business and future maintenance to these folks.
Thank You

This deserves 0 stars. Thor does not do their due diligence to ensure customers receive a product worth what they charge. I paid over $100,000 for a new class B RV. However, this brand new RV has more issues than I'd expect a used RV to have. My RV only has 10,500 miles and my current issue (I have lost track how many times I've had to fix something) is that the raidiator hose blew because the alternator they installed for the RV house wasn't routed or installed properly so the timing belt is rubbing on the radiator hose - basically, why wasnt this considered/avoided. Just a few months after the Thor manufacturing warranty expired, the hose ruptured. I really would like to spread awareness so that consumers do not buy this faulty product, which will ruin vacations! I can go on with issues ((fridge doesn't work, screws falling off from car vibrations, engine parts not tied down and tap tap tap during drives, awning no longer function, rear view camera turns on mid drive on the hwy and we cant X out of it, cabinet frame are warping, we've had heater issues, vinyl flooring is lifting on all corners, entire ceiling leather panel floating because it became unglued, bed slide rubs on the metal lock, so the board has a huge gash from it slidding/rubbing on metal, missing insulation between van frame and the interior, water enters from the AC unit on the ceiling, etc. And yes, there are more!)) But there are too many to break down full details. Quality is subpar. I don't know who wants to pay $100,000 for something that barely lasts 2 years. It has been a true nightmare. I'm just here to spread awareness. Avoid this product at all costs!

The Thor Scope M18 18 foot RV came broken from the factory. The electrical does not work unless you plug it in making generator worthless. General RV could not fix it when I first sent it back. There were also 4 recalls making it dangerous to drive and many other things broken including the water intake line getting twisted twice. It has now been 2 summers that I cannot use it or rent it out. It also came with no instructions, no troubleshooting advice, no good videos on youtube so all of my problems had to go back to General RV. I am a first time RV owner and I will never buy another again.

I really wish I had seen some more reviews on this manufacturer before purchasing a Thor Motor Coach camper van. So to anyone reading these reviews, buy from a different manufacturer.
I purchased a brand new Thor Motor Coach Sequence 20J last March, 2023. The first issue I had is when I'm still dealing with, 18 months later. The jackknife bench seat cover had a horrible rip and was bent upon purchase (guessing it was taken to shows). I have been sent three or four different seat replacements at this point, olive which are a different shade of fabric and made of an inferior fabric compared to the original seat. I received the first one only 3 months after purchasing the van. This thing was brand new and I should still be able to get the original matching seat. 18 months later and I still have not received a correct seat. This van was in the six figures in cost.
The second issue took my van out of commission for 3 months during prime camping and travel time the first summer I had it (summer/fall 2023). Even though Thor swore up and down that nothing they did should interfere with the electrical components of the van itself, some of the wiring they did caused a short circuit to the BCM module in the van which caused all of the exterior lights to malfunction and not work. Making this thing not safe to drive at all. That part was back ordered for 3 months before I could get a replacement. The dealership is the one that determined this was a manufacturer issue.
Fast forward to June 2024. My house batteries will not charge while the camper van is running/driving and the solar no longer charges. Thor took about 2 weeks to send a replacement alternator and solar panel. While my dealership was installing this, they discovered that the alternator that was sent was again faulty. Now it's out of stock and I'm waiting yet another month or two for parts to come in. I anticipate another 2 to 3 months of prime camping time in the summer of 2024 being ruined because of Thor and their shotty quality. I'm about to go spend money on a separate generator just to power my lithium powered van.
Anytime I've ever reach out to Thor to directly work with them to get some of these issues addressed, they have been no help and have just referred me back to the dealership I bought my van from. My dealership has been great at trying to navigate these issues. Thor needs to get their act together.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. Look for a different manufacturer for your camper vans.

Wow! I cannot begin to explain the downright disrespectful, dismissive and gaslighting 'service' I've received from Thor regarding issues with my 2023 Gemini. (Dealing with Camping World is a 1star review in itself, but I'll stick to just THOR here).
I originally called THOR about 2 weeks ago regarding the installed RVMP 4000i Flex Power generator, and it not working (because CW said there was nothing wrong - I guess we have different definitions of 'working'). I explained that the FLEX generator will *only* run on gas and when switched to propane it immediately shuts off. Obviously since the propane works for everything else, I assumed this was an issue specifically between the propane and the generator. I was told by customer service at that time to bring it back to CW to have it repaired. Call to CW who said nope it works fine. I called RVMP who explicitly stated that my unit (verified by serial #) absolutely should run on BOTH propane & gas (ya know, hence the name "flex")...
So being moderately handy, I crawled under this rig with the schematics provided to follow the lines from the lp tank and behold!! A cap at that spot in the manifold and behold!! the line from the generator also capped. Clearly there is no possible way for it to run on lp since the line has been removed. I called THOR back explained that the line is missing, after being told I would need to have CW verify, the customer service person stated that "sometimes the techs just forget to hook things up"... definitely gives me a great feeling for the overall care and quality of their products. Again, I was told to bring back to CW to have them fix and it would be covered.
I dropped off to CW explained again the issue, explained the lack of lp line to the generator and again was told, come pick it up it works fine. Shocker. I said that's impossible, and asked point blank to install the proper lp line. Crickets... CW then informed me that they are not "authorized" to fix the generator and they can't even order parts from THOR to do so...
So here's the kicker..... I called THOR back again today and explained yet again that the generator is not working properly since it can't run off *both* gas an propane. I was then told by this rep that THOR doesn't ever hook up the propane because that is "optional"... optional?? Running off both is literally the reason to install this generator. That's the whole point. I explained again that it doesn't work "properly" if it only runs on gas. That THOR is advertising (and passing on the cost to consumers) that a FLEX generator is installed. No where does it say "Equipped with RVMP 4000i Flex Power but it really only runs on Gas". It's like buying a hybrid car and saying that running off electric is "an option you can install later."
I explained that it's wholly deceptive to advertise something but not actually install it properly (RVMP agrees). I was then met with such gaslighting and dismissive comments like "well if you want to 'say' it's not working properly" or it's not THORs fault I "expected it to be hooked up"... or again that basic functionality was 'optional'. I also explained how that was extremely unethical and shady operation, making owners pay out of pocket to hook up a system that literally should have been installed in the first place.... I guess I should be happy THOR didn't think running on gas was "optional" also.
What a disgusting way to operate on both fronts; skimping on proper installation and then horrible customer service on top of that.
So I'm left with having to work directly with RVMP (who have been awesome) to come up with something.
I can honestly say I will never buy anything from them again, and I will be forwarding

If you want a Thor home, don't spend $450K. Buy a used one for $200K from the many disguntled owners who dump them after the numerous issues with new ones. And then fix it yourself. Watch the Youtubes on Thor - they are a disaster.

Folks, Military Vets, and active duty, please beware of Thor RV's. This is a 2024 Brand New Thor Delano. It's rusted all under the bottom and metal frame. All the compartment hinges are corroded, and the A/C was inoperable during my walk thought. The Tech's at the dealership could not get the A/C to work. I almost lost my deposit I had put down prior to purchase. I Called Thor customer service and was told this is what the warranty is for. This is the first time I have been told to have warranty work completed before I purchase. I expected Thor to own up to the issues, but all they did was talk about the warranty. If I hadn't looked under the carriage I would have been ripped off. This THOR Delano along with customer service is a joke. Seem as if THOR do not stand behind or take responsibility for their subpar products. Customer service, sent an email with a label "NOBODY WILL BULID THEM BETTER". What a joke! This THOR Delano is still out there for sale. Please beware! Vin# CAS-205081-G9K3B1 W1X8E33Y9NN207536

As an update, Thor did follow up with the RV's defective roof complaint and sent me a reimbursement check for the repairs. I give them credit for recognizing their error and covering the cost of the repair. Thank You.

I have a 2020 Thor freedom elite 30FE. First time I took it out I started having problems with the slides. After several phone calls to Thor's customer service and 6 months in the shop. They finally fixed it. After that I had continuous water leaks in the bathroom area that cost me about $5,000 to repair because Thor would not cover the water leaks. I would not recommend any Thor products due to poor quality and terrible customer service.

We had a few issues with our 2022 Magnitude. the dealers didn't seem to want to help or wanted lots of money to do so. the slide outs weren't aligned properly but after our annual inspection nothing was said. Our entry step was also broke because of some angle aluminum holding it in place. Last issue was a difficult one. When the generator would start because of low battery voltage it would sometimes trip the inverter breaker. After discussing with Thor customer service I setup an appointment and went to the factory service center. Everything was fixed or replaced and the team there was anmazing. Every interaction with Thor has made me thankful we purchased a Thor product. Thank You so much!

Over all, our 2017 Thor Hurricane 29M is a great coach. I think Thor, along with many other RV manufacturers, Keystone being one that comes to mind, cut corners and purchase the cheapest hardware they can find. Our drawer closures are a Chinese joke, many of them are broken. Being "full timers", it's frustrating dealing with inferior, excuse the word, crap. However, the gas guzzling Ford V10's are awesome and seem to be dependable. Take care of your engine by doing regular oil changes and it will take care of you. Motorhomes are not cheap, don't purchase one thinking that you're going to save money... because you're not. Have fun and safe travels.

Sure wish I could rate a ZERO cause that's all Thor has shown me so far - nothing. After 18 months of ownership, our new 2022 Tellaro hasn't worked properly for even one minute. It's been one major problem after another - like Whack-a-Mole. Just when we think one thing gets fixed, another rears it's head. Their Li-Ion battery system is such poorly designed that it can't keep up with any amount of battery demand. Numerous wiring issues plagued the van and it wouldn't pass inspection initially because of shorted out lights. Too many problems to list, trust me. But it's completely unusable until they figure out why the battery for the coach isn't charging. Their customer service? Non existent. They took 3 weeks to reply to my first inquiry, but it was completely a useless response that missed the whole point of the problem. Multiple contacts since and they don't even bother to respond at all now and it's been over a year since the first one. Can't recommend this company at all. They put out a horribly unreliable and poor quality product and do not support their customers to get it working.
