My family was driving to Pittsburgh, PA on Friday, January 31st, 2025 for a weekend trip due to a family matter, and we stopped at this Sunoco in Elkhart, Indiana. When we got there we filled up with gas and then went to use the restroom and were told that their restrooms were broken. What kind of gas station has both bathrooms broken? It was inaccessible so we took our business somewhere else in Elkhart instead.
2/10 Edit: I removed what business we went to afterwards as I decided one of my rating rules was to not name other businesses in my reviews. Thank you for your understanding.

Excellent stop here. Gas prices decent, inside is brand new, clean and fully stocked with everything. Fresh variety of donuts, hot coffee and a delicious little place called Roost inside that’s serving chicken, biscuits and sandwhiches ready made and to order! Restrooms were the cleanest I’ve seen at any stop in Indiana! Service was super friendly and fast.

If I lose 40 minutes every time I refuel, I won’t be able to make any deliveries on time, and no one will want to hire me. I tried to refuel here using the Mudflap app, and it was a complete hassle. The female staff member kept making mistakes, so I had to go back and forth from the pump to the inside twice. The third time, she didn’t select DEF, so I had to return again just for the DEF, and in the end, I couldn’t get the DEF. She asked for help from another woman who seemed to be a manager, but that person was reluctant to assist the staff member, who was clearly new and inexperienced. I will never buy fuel from this brand again.

Very dirty location, disappointed to see something like this on a toll highway where this is one of the options where you can stop without paying the toll again.
Also be careful this location puts a huge hold on your debit card.

Unfortunately with this being a safe heaven for many travelers across America, The folks who work here think that cleanliness is some sort of crime… Every one stands around playing, joking, and gossiping, NO ONE cleans ANYTHING… I can easily see years of fingerprints on each door, window and walls, the counters are not clean, NEVER trust to place items directly on them, the bathrooms look like the place was abandoned many years ago. No trash was taken out, NO WATER PRESSURE, floors look muddy with footprints, sinks are full of built up filth, toilets are a nightmare… I always leave positive and highly detailed reviews. But this place has broken my heart a bit. I expect way more from my fellow Americans 😢 🤦🏽♂️ owners… managers… has Covid 19 taught us nothing!!!🤯… pleases do a walk through and see for yourself… I don’t want to take too many photos and videos as proof and also I would like to change my review next time I stop here, plz and thank you 🙏 💪🏽🫡🇺🇸 this is not a serving village

Usually not a problem. Today I was told the card reader wasn't able to take a card swipe on the only open register. Only chip was available on that register. I was asked if I had another card to use. I expressed yes I do, but I would like to pay with that card and asked if we could use another register. The lady behind the register audibly sighed and rolled her eyes at me! I still thanked her when I left. But I had clearly inconvenienced her by way of paying for my food and received no reply.

If all truck stops were like this one which has good cleanliness, organized and friendly staff with good attention and parking lot well accessible truck drivers would not have to work as much as in other truck stops ? Sunoco

Came in for a meal after a long drive. Female ( I think) employee looked toward me and says to another employee " gosh, I wish people would stop coming in and ordering food".Its the job you took SO DO IT OR LEAVE!! LAZY A$$
