This place is a huge disgrace and the lady at the front desk caused nothing but trouble!! Upon checking in she asked how many were staying the night and I said me and my two girls she said okay. Gave us our keys and off we went on a crazy maze trip looking for our room. We finally find it after walking through the entire hotel and the keys both don’t work. Have to go all the way back down and told her it wasn’t working. She asked which door that the outside doors weren’t working with the key and I said no I can’t even get in my room. She then redoes the cards. EVERY SINGLE OUTSIDE DOOR JUST OPENS UP AND ISNT EVEN LOCKED! HUGE SAFETY ISSUE!! We go back up and thankfully it works. She yells my name as I am walking in the hallway, very unprofessional, asking if I was having a party and I said I have some guests coming and she said you can’t have party, how many people you have? I said like six people, she said you taking party to pool, I said no everything is in the room. She said okay that is fine just don’t disrupt guests. I said okay we won’t. We go upstairs and have our pizza and then head to go swim. She then comes into the pool area yelling and threatening me saying that I said the party wasn’t going to be in the pool. I said the party stuff isn’t in the pool it’s in my room we’re just swimming. She then says we have one hour to swim then she’s calling the COPS if we aren’t out of the pool. THE POOL IS ALSO NO LOCKED. I’m like seriously whatever we will stop swimming in an hour. She continues yelling at me and just won’t quit so I move away from her and just ignore her. Another lady who was just in the pool area confronts her and tells her to leave the pool area that she shouldn’t be yelling at me with children around to see. We leave the swimming area half an hour later and go back up to the room for cupcakes and ice cream. Once again she comes pounding on my door saying she needed to check my room bc there’s a leak in the hotel room below me. She practically pushes her way in and starts looking around and wants to go into the bathroom and I said no someone is in the shower. She said okay call me when they are done. Five minutes later she calls up and says the water isn’t leaking anymore so just stop using that shower. Then she says that room 103 below us is saying we’re being too loud and we need to stop stomping and running around. NO ONE was even doing that. My 40 pound 7 year old was just walking as she is autistic and is always moving around pacing. Again says they will CALL THE COPS. 10-15 minutes later the COPS are pounding on my door, THREE of them, saying we are being disruptive and other guests are complaining, LIES… I said I paid for this room I am not leaving! All we’re doing is watching tv winding down for the night. They say she told them we are blaring music and jumping around. The COPS say that according to her we are trespassing and they are there to escort us out and they need the adults name and birthday and we CANNOT come back on their property. We tell them they don’t need our names that we’re not giving them our names, it just me and my mom there with my four kids. The COPS say we will be arrested if we don’t give them our names. I paid $430 to stay here for one damn night and I get harassed by the lady at the front desk the entire time, the cops come out and ESCORT us out.Rooms: Couldn’t even shower without it leading to a leak to the lower floor.Safety: NOT A SAFE PLACE AT ALL. EXIT DOORS WERE UNLOCKED AND ANYONE COULD JUST WALK RIGHT IN.Noteworthy details: TERRIBLE FRONT DESK LADYNOTHING BUT ISSUESKICKED OUT WITHOUT A REFUND($430)PHONE ONLY IN ONE ROOM AND COULDNT HEAR IT RINGRUINED MY 7 YEAR OLDS CELEBRATIONNOT KID FRIENDLY

I work as a contractor for multiple school districts in the area and based on the reviews, thought this would be an ideal place to stay for a few days. Things were good at first, staff was friendly, the room had a kitchen and full-sized fridge. The issues began when I used the sink and after 2 seconds, it was backing up. I notified the front desk and they said it would be fixed. Several hours later, I still had no sink and had to run to the downstairs bathroom areas or use bathrooms wherever I was out eating at during the time. When I asked the front desk what was going on, the manager was a bit surprised and said "no one came up?" It was not completed until the next day around noon and the maintenance man said it was a severe blockage from hair and was shocked by the fact it got to that point before someone reported it.After the sink issue, a new issue arose. The person below, after the hotel served free alcoholic drinks and a snack, was slamming walls off and on like he was angry about something. This slamming then occurred throughout the night from 11-2 a.m. The next morning, I notified staff and they said they could move my room but nothing was available at the time. When I checked in at the time to change rooms, I was told by a new worker they had no rooms available and were overbooked. I was stuck with the person slamming walls.I came to find out that room below was filled by railroad workers. It turns out that the hotel is contracted with these crews. Staff notified me that it is possible one of them was in a bad mood because they were called up for work in the middle of the night and this is why there was slamming going on. Regardless, this does give pause as to wanting to stay in a place where there are working crews coming in and out at all hours of the day and night who may be angry and unstable because they aren't sleeping well and are away from their families. Even if they aren't upset, there will still be substantial noise from them coming in from work and leaving all throughout the day and night. Then, if there is an issue, there most likely won't be the option to switch rooms because many rooms are contracted out through this RR company they have a deal with. I understand businesses want to fill their hotels and the guys need a place to sleep, but they should partition the building to keep the crews in one part and the traditional visitor in another as their work schedules are too erratic and disrupt other visitors.I tried to contact the manager several times. Each time he was busy on revenue calls, was at another hotel, or had just left. I understand things can go wrong during visits, and I try to be flexible, but the amount of things that went wrong and the severity of it was not excusable. I will definitely be sure to let others know I don't recommend staying here.

The room comes with a refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. They provide you with eating utensils and bowls, plate, etc... There is also a living room, which makes the hotel room really spacious. For me, there isn't enough light in the bedroom, the only source of light being a lamp and a window.I tried to go to the gym, but the card would read, but there is a way in throught the laundry room. The gym was ok for a hotel, with a variety of dumbells. The laundry machines are free fyi. The pool stinks and is pretty small. They had a basketball court, grill, and picnic tables outside. The basketball hoop is a little beat but is still in good condition.Overall, I would recommend you stand here.

It would be a perfect score IF there weren't some little issues with the room(s). First room had an undersized bed, second room has some light switches that don't work and other stuff, and service has been GREAT. We are in town to have work done on our RV and they have plenty of parking for us.

Great place to stay for Business or pleasure. The room was extremely clean, well managed, and included a fully stocked kitchen. Upon checking in the staff was really nice and continued to be very accommodating throughout my entire stay. The breakfast was awesome, with a lot of hot and cold options, and they even have a dinner social, that i unfortunately missed, but it's nice knowing it was available. The maids made sure i had clean towels daily and were also friendly.Rooms: I had the one bedroom suite which included a full kitchen and dining area. Loved the decor and modern feel. The living room area had a couch with a lounger on the end. The bathroom area and closet were large and the bed was dreamy.Nearby activities: The hotel included a basketball court, pool, and dinner time social. There is a movie theater down the street.Safety: Felt very safe. Well lit parking lot and double locking doors.Food & drinks: Very big breakfast buffet with large variety of hot and cold options. During the week they have a dinner social that includes beer, wine, and food and it's included with your stay.Noteworthy details: Well everything i already mentioned plus the laundry is free.

The rooms are adequate. I had an issue the first two nights, they swapped me rooms with no problems. They have social hour Monday through Wednesday with beer and wine along with delicious finger foods hosted by Jeremy. He is the best! I would stay there again.

10/10 for everything but the bed, it was a little firm and lumpy. Honestly if the bed was better Id pay twice as much for the room. Really spacious and clean. Staff were very professional, and both the men on the counter when we checked in and out on 10/7 10/8 were great. The included free hot breakfast was one of the best Ive had in many years of motel stays. It included eggs, sausage, gravy, and just about anything else you would want for breakfast, even the fruit was FRESH. Thank you!!

I love this hotel!!!! My work often brings me to Elkhart and we stay at the Staybridge apart of our accommodations provided by the company. No matter who greets us or checks us out, we are always met with a smiling face. My work brings many of us in at all hours of the day and night, yet the staff is more then willing to help. The rooms are amazing, clean, fully stocked and ready for some time of relaxation. I can't tell you how awesome they all are. If I had to hand out one kudo to a single person it would be Kush, I'm sure I spelled it wrong. He always goes above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Thank you to the entire team for always making our stays the best around!

Staff is absolutely second-to-none in terms of friendliness, willingness to help. Located just north of 80/90 Toll Road access. Tons of nearby chain restaurants (both sit-down and fast food/drive-thru) as well as delicious locally-owned dining establishments. Feels like staying in an apartment rather than a hotel. Highly recommend!

This hotel gave me a poor first impression. When I tried to use my IHG rewards to book, I was told they they are out of stock on the rooms designated for points. That is very lame and misleading. Then, the room I was given had a broken stove with a broken timer and cracked glass. That's a safety hazard. Please see the photos I posted. When I was given another room, that one was right up against the elevator. The room is unacceptable and annoying. The room buzzes with mechanical noises from both elevators, with bangs, clunks and people chattering constantly. I tried to move to a 3rd room but again, these are the only 2 rooms I can use free points on. This is a laughable joke. The breakfast service is woefully inadequate, with items either missing (no waffles) or malfunctioning equipment (orange tinted water instead of orange juice). This whole "motel" is an overpriced, low quality trainwreck. I will address this with staff in the morning, since I have to check out due to the rewards rooms being "out of stock".

We had a water damage event in our home requiring us to be at this hotel for a little over 2 months. Let me start by saying that the manager of thr kitchen, Jeremy, was top notch. He asked us about our stay, showed empathy about our situation, and overall, was a exemplary employee and a kind human being. At least in our situation, the same cannot be said about the other employees we interacted with. I'll give you a top 5 as to go further would take too much time and require readers to spend too much of their lives reading about an organization that we found, quite simply, doesn't understand the hospitality business. 5. We went days without having housekeeping enter our room. We had to go down every time we needed anything like towels, and in one case, contacted them 4 times bc housekeeping stripped my wife bed and never put clean sheets back on. It took almost a full week to finally have our sheets back on the bed. Also, the one time we did have to send housekeeping away, it was bc they came to our room ar 1:30 PM while my 4 year old was napping to clean, and when we did send them away, they called our temporary housing company and told them we repeatedly denied them entrance into our room. 4. The kitchen worker named Lovie rarely showed up I time to start breakfast at the stated time of 6:30, repeatedly burned things, and repeatedly told my sons they ate too much and asked them to leave food for others. She also blared R&B music and sang to it during the entirely of breakfast. 3. When we did bring issues to the attention of employees, we were given lip service. Our son and daughter were swarmed by hornets and we told the hotel. They promised to take action and a full week later, we were still getting swarmed. 2. Hotel poor heater was broken, which was just one of the MANY broken items that no one appeared to have any desire to fix. Our drawers were busted, and our AC broke several times in a room that had no ability to open the windows. It would routinely get so hot that my 4 year old had to strip to her undies to even get comfy enough to sleep. 1. The last straw ( while we were there anyway) was the AC going down 3 timesnin one week due to it needing a freon recharge and the hotel not doing anything about it but sending the maintenance team to patch it up and get it working for a few hours. We called and asked for a fan and were told that they only had one and it was in use. When I asked for them to go get a second fan, I was told by their GM, Ashish, that instead he would call our temp housing insurance and tell them we were no longer welcome to stay there. I asked him if he thought that was empathetic to say and he simply said "well it appears you are unhappy with our accomadations." When we awoke the next morning we begun the process of moving out to go back to our still unfinished home. We got 98% of everything removed, ans when we left realized that we forgot our daughters school pics and a couple other small items. We were told over the phone that they would get th4 remaining items and put them at the front desk for us. We returned the next morning and were told that apparently wasn't done and all our remaining items had been disposed of. Maybe you will have a different experience. Maybe they just really botched up just our a stay. We will never be back though, nor will we recommend them to ANYONE moving forward.
