I was excited to find a local consignment store in my area. I had recently cleaned out my closet and brought my gently used items with me as their website says no appointment is needed and they are always accepting inventory (everyday as well as designer items). I visited the store and browsed for a bit as it was my first visit and was greeted by whom I assume was the owner. I had told her I had stopped in because I was interested in consigning my items and was immediately turned down. I was given multiple excuses such as “we’re not accepting consignment at the moment”, “we only take “designer” items”, “don’t accept anything in boxes”(bags only), etc. I felt judged and dismissed, as if my items or myself weren’t good enough. It was a very off-putting experience and I don’t plan on returning.

I love Stash and Amy is the best! It’s the only consignment shop I take and buy clothes! I’ve purchased so many adorableClothes, jewelry, purses and shoes! I always look forward to going to Stash to see what gems I’ll find. Amy is always personable and happy to see me!

I’ve brought things to Stash Boutique for consignment for several years. I’ve done well with the items I’ve brought in. Additionally, I’ve shopped here before, on many occasions. Amy, the store owner, is exceptionally helpful, quickly noting my size & style, & bringing various items of possible interest to me to try on. Amy has a great eye for style & she keeps her store clean, up-to-date, & often has items on sale, in addition to the regularly priced inventory. Amy carries many high end brands, as well as other, even more affordable, lovely, options. I love to consign & love to shop @ Stash Boutique!

i called the store beforehand, and i had asked the owner ( amy ) if she was taking items and she said it depends what you have and i said okay. and she had stated i will just have to bring my items in and see. so i brought my great cared for very gently used clothing in and she said oh i cannot take these but you have very cute stuff and i looked puzzled and she said these are too small… and i asked well what sizes do you take and she said i don’t take anything 0-4 and i told her that my jeans were size 5s and she said she still couldn’t take it because they were too small. i will not be back.

This is my favorite consignment store! I love coming in and seeing all of the well curated clothing. The owner, Amy, is an absolute gem and knows her stuff. I love chatting with her! All of the clothes are hardly worn and great quality, I've never been disappointed when I come in. If you haven't been here, you've got to go!

We were visiting local businesses to invite them to a local event. We waited in line and the lady behind the counter asked, "how can I help you." As I started to introduce myself, she interrupted me and said "you're going to have to wait and shop around while I help my customers"... that rude and condescending tone definitely does not make me want to ever shop there. Seems like there are several reviews where people feel belittled and judged. It costs nothing to be kind.
