I saw the deli worker eating food behind the counter with gloves on while preparing food for sale. Disgusting.

Very poor customer service. Put on hold for over 30-40 minutes for the deli to finally answer, take my order, but then say they're closed. Hours are supposed to be 7a-9p but closed at 5. Which would be cool had I been told that to begin with. Instead they put me on hold and bounced my call from Dept to Dept for over a half hour.Rude on top of that. Manager sharrons attitude upon answering the phone was no better. Whole store needs to go to customer service classes.

Masks required but few are wearing them. Staff have their noses hanging out. Shelves are low.

I went to Kroger on 10/26/19 to pic up a 12 pack of beer . Went to use the self check out there . The girl working checked my ID I paid for my beer .. I got to my car and this old guy walked right up on me blocking my drivers side door telling me I didn’t show any ID and that I didn’t pay for my beer. He didn’t state that he was a employee and was wearing plain clothes . Things were about to go very bad for this guy cause I was about to go off on him . When the girl who check

It's a Cheaper Grocery store. Pretty good. There is only one type of yogurt that they don't have. Other than that they have everything. Always sales. Good prices

Kroger grocery store on Johnson Street in Elkhart is a small grocery store. It's been there quite awhile and they have never improved the place. Because it's the smallest Kroger's in Elkhart, they don't have the variety and volume of items. Only so much room, only so much stock. And the staff is not the friendliest of the 2 Kroger stores. Trust me, drive to the huge Kroger's on the south side of Elkhart at the old Pierre Moran Mall. Bigger store, much more stock and variety. Nicer store and friendly staff. Well worth the few minutes extra drive time.

I tried to purchase soda. Neither self scan nor employees work. I walked out with nothing but my money. Great business strategy Krogers. Walmart here I come.

To be a good citizen of my community, I attempt to shop with local or regional companies. Kroger is a Midwest company that has grown to be the second largest grocer in our country. Kroger is one of the last stores I know that baggers and checkout clerks have a union. I worked at Kroger as a youth and recall with fondness that I had a union to support me with management. Kroger has good products and produce is sourced from local farms. I do not care for self checkout because they take jobs from check out clerks but I use them nonetheless. Good store. Shop here for food as opposed Walmart or national chains.

Worst Kroeger I have ever been in. Store was dirty, floors and shelves. Lots of items out of stock. I had to go through 8 containers of milk to find one that wasn't covered in milk. Some of them were so sticky I had to clean my hands. There were others that had black residue all over them like dirt. As soon as I got home I washed off the carton for fear it was dirty with spoiled milk. Never shop there again, glad I don't live near there.
