Lots of interesting items and we got lots of goodies but be very careful about what you pick up. A lot of the food, personal items, and cleansers are all expired (coffee expired 11-2022 and it's 6-2023). And nearly all the nail polishes and serums were open and used. Otherwise, we did buy some fun stuff here.

it's basically a garage sale. the building smells and everything is mostly garbage. Anything fabric will smell like the buildin. They must get a lot of theft because they insisted on checking my daughters purse before we left. we won't be back.

I would strongly recommend you train your middle aged female cashier about customer service and the basics of interacting with guests. When a customer walks into a store 38 minutes before the closing time, it doesn’t exactly warrant an urgent warning of that fact. But even if a heads up is deemed necessary that far in advance, I think a friendlier tone of voice might help, and perhaps a “hello” first! Most people aren’t going to feel inclined to spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on your furniture when the first thing they are greeted with at the door is a rude tone of voice snapping at you: “we’re closing soon.”I had literally just finished looking at Google and decided that nearly 40 minutes should be enough time to look at furniture before walking into your store. Your cashier made my mind up for me that I wouldn’t be buying any big ticket items here.Maybe she could try something like: “Hi, welcome! Just letting you know that we will be closing up for the night in just 38 minutes.” Or “time really flies in here and we close in 38 minutes, but enjoy your browsing!” Honestly, just about anything outside of cursing at me would have been a better greeting. With so many consumers buying big ticket items online nowadays, you’d think that staff members would care a little more about how they are perceived. Or maybe she didn’t think it mattered because I don’t look like I have money because I’m young? Or maybe she just wanted her shift to end ASAP and doesn’t care about the business. Who knows? The store had an otherwise decent vibe and kind of a neat and eclectic selection of items. The other (male) cashier was pleasant enough and he even asked “how are you?” Normally I wouldn’t pay that very much mind, but it was a stark contrast to the other cashier so it was noticed. Unfortunately, I definitely won’t be back tomorrow with my friend to look at furniture for her new house, but maybe I’ll come back someday for the good prices on random vitamins and shampoo.

The place has become a joke! A few years ago it was typically an enjoyable experience stopping in to browse around and find neat odds and ends. Now it's mostly become a furniture and home furnishings store, with some junky items from vendors sprinkled in. I hadn't been to the place in well over a year, but I had a doctor's appointment today that wrapped up quicker than expected, so I decided to stop in and look around. I did find a few items that I decided to purchase, but opted out on a couple other things due to price gouging. Definitely price match before buying because some of the items, brand new mind you, were less than a dollar more when purchasing them from a reputable retailer!! When it comes down to it, I would rather pay full price for something and guarantee a return window in the event it was broken our faulty.I also had a very uncomfortable experience that I'm still upset about. I was browsing a cell phone and accessories area and was trying to find a longer charge cord for my child's tablet. I was sifting through the basket trying to locate a longer cord when I notice an older man in his late 50's weirdly approaching me. I tried not to panic, but something definitely felt off. I felt his gaze on me and I quickly put a cord I was looking at back in the basket and started to walk away. The cord was filthy and stained up btw (I couldn't see that until I had pulled it out and touched it ?). Anyway I start to walk away from the area and then the man comes up closer and asks me for the cord I just had. It was so f*cking bizarre. I was trying to not be rude so I handed it to him. But like why not get it yourself?! CREEP! I'm not sure what his intentions were and I noticed him continue to lurk in other areas. If his true intentions were to really look at the same cords, he definitely could have been a bit more patient and kept a longer distance from me. I'm not sure if he was some Elkhart creep or if he is a badly trained loss prevention employee...either way it wasn't cool. Thankfully I didn't run back into him as I made my way to the other side of the store, otherwise I would have abandoned my cart and left.Another thing I happened to notice was that there are countless photos of shoplifters, "smile, you're on camera", and "we prosecute shoplifters" signs ALL throughout the store. Clearly there is a big issue at hand and some changes surely need to be made. If that older guy I experienced in the cell phone accessories area was in fact LP, he sucks at his job. Profiling people has proven that it does not effectively work. Learn to blend in and be inconspicuous. Also, you can tell the front desk clerks are more focused on keeping tabs on the surveillance cameras than face to face interactions with PAYING customers during checkout. The two employees at the front desk carried on their conversation throughout my whole transaction process. It wasn't very warm and welcoming, that's for sure. These are prime examples of why I will not step food back into this establishment. I will gladly pay a few extra bucks to not only have a pleasant shopping experience, but also receive clean and in true new products. I don't care if the item still has the label on it. If it's visible, it should be wiped with a cleaning wipe at the very least!

I was sold expired candy and I wasn't given a refund. Instead got told to get out of the store for claiming that I was getting sold expired candy. Employees dont know how to treat customers right.

Amazing store, with great staff and very friendly manager who’ll help you with anything and he’ll try to answer any questions that you have about the products. You can find great deals and save so much money, I always walk out with a bunch of amazing stuff. And they’re open everyday.

Great place to shop, lots of great deals and finds. They have furniture, housewares, tools, lots of clothes, electronics, knives of all kinds, lots of used appliances, lawn mowers, lamps, huge selection of rugs and carpets, jewelry, lots of vendors. There is also a great Mexican restaurant inside.Great place to shop and eat.Never know what you may find here. The inventory is always changing. They also have a lot of additional vendors outside during the summer , and auctions

Usually love coming here and every time I’ve come preciously I’ve always shopped with a coffee. Today they said as soon as we came in “you can’t bring that in” which is weird because no where it is written or stated on any signs we can’t have an outside drink . We usually always come in and buy something and eat at Sergio’s, but today was different we left. The instant attitude was what made us just leave. I love shopping here but the front desk seems to love enforcing policies that aren’t even listened anywhere. I’ve came here one a month for the past year everytime with a drink and it was never an issue. I’m sorry but if I can’t walk around and enjoy my coffee in a thrift store that doesn’t have much valued items, I’d rather go somewhere else.
