I have been buying cars for over 20 years and every time I have dreaded it. My wife made a call last Wednesday to see about test driving and let them know that’s all we wanted. We test drove it, left our info and said we would be back later in the week. Uri was amazing, followed up and we decided to go back and make the purchase. Again no pressure, super helpful and friendly -!: the sale went flawless. The manager, Ryan was awesome as well and helped us understand everything as well. For new car buying I can’t recommend them enough!!!

Left my Toyota RAV for body work to be done and picked it up less than a week later! Very timely! They went above and beyond. They fixed a ding in my quarter panel that wasn't part of the reason we had to get repairs to begin with! That ding has bothered me for years, so this was a great surprise! My car was spotless inside and out! I can't say enough good things about Gurley Leep body shop. Thank you!

They were a complete mess. They fought with me for 3 wks (while I paid $1300 privately for a loaner in the meantime) what's crazy is that they stated they put a new tire on. And fought with me that there was a new tire. When there was CLEARLY our 4 worn tires on the vehicle. Then come to find out they wouldn't fix one of the biggest problems for our accident because they couldn't prove it had It was a mess. To fix our trouble? Let's not refund anything we LIED about, but drive another 4 hours and we will do a complimentary detail? How is that making up for the $500b i,n losses!?

The team in the service department did an amzing job fixing the tail end of my car after an accident. But it did take more than a month with very minimal communication on what was happening. The front desk personnel was difficult to work with. But again the physical job that was done was done very well.

I purchased my last two vehicles from Gurley Leep in Elkhart. Recently, my husband and I had repairs done to his truck at another car lot we ended up needing to purchase a new vehicle. We purchased a vehicle from another car lot. The service from the repairs we had on the old truck and the service from buying a vehicle from another lot were nothing compared to the service I had received from Honda and the service I continue to receive from Honda! I will never use another car lot or service center. I so appreciate my experiences with Gurley Leep, you all are the best!

My whole experience with Gurley has been disheartening. On August 19, 2023, I visited your dealership Gurley Leep Nissan in Mishawaka with the intent on purchasing a 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport. I had done my research and was genuinely interested in making a purchase, which makes my experience more disheartening. When I arrived, I was greeted by Tyler Parsons, I informed him on the vehicle that I wanted to see and test drive. He went inside the dealership to acquire the location of the vehicle. When he came back out, he was joined by Jake Atkins. They then told that the vehicle that I wanted to look at was at a sister location; Gurley Leep Honda in Elkhart. They offered to have the vehicle brought over so I could see it, but first insisted that I test drive a 2023 Nissan Rogue before they would make the call. I agreed even though I knew what vehicle I was really interested in. Before the test drive was over, I told Tyler to go ahead and make the call to have the 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport brought over from the Elkhart location, he quickly responded “I just sent a text”. When we arrived at back the dealership, Tyler had my fiancé’ and I come inside to wait at his desk for the vehicle to arrive. We waited for 30 minutes, and he returned and said that “someone is test driving it right now”, he said that he would inquire on whether if it sold after that test drive. He returned 30 more minutes later and he stated that the truck “just sold, literally just now”. I was extremely disheartened, and I felt like if they would have requested the vehicle when I initially asked for it, that it would’ve been mine. After that both Tyler and Jake had me go outside to see if there was anything else that I would be interested in and there wasn’t. Jake was pushy and seemed to be trying to make a sale at that point because he was showing me vehicles that he knew per my interests that I had expressed to him were not met. After being at Gurly Leep Nissan for nearly 2 hours, we decided to drive through Gurley Leep Honda in Elkhart just to see if they had anything like the 2018 Nissan Rogue. Low and behold!! Before we even turned in the parking lot, guess what was in the front row! the 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport that I was interested in. Now I don’t know how commissions work between the 2 dealers, but I feel like I was lied to by Tyler and Jake to try to make a sale with them instead of getting the vehicle brought over from Elkhart.Unfortunately, Gurley Leep Honda was closed when we arrived, so we made plans to go the next business day. On Monday August 21, I traveled an hour back to Elkhart. I was immediately greeted by salesman Adel Abu-Shehad. He was great! He got the keys so I could look at, and test drive the Rogue, I was satisfied. The bumper was a bit loose, but they agreed to replace the clamps to secure it. I made the purchase! Being that this is my first time purchasing a vehicle I was truly excited. On August 23, I took the vehicle back to the dealer as instructed to have the bumper repaired with clips. After just one week the clips were not latching to bumper, and it looks like it does before they fixed it. I have included pictures. On Saturday October 20, after only having the vehicle about 60 days, I get a “Malfunction Error” warning on the dash every warning light that is associated with 4WD and braking system are illuminated (ABS, Brake Warning, AEB, Master Warning Light, 4WD High Temperature Stop Vehicle, and 4WD Error). Because I live an hour away from the Gurley dealership and do not know if it’s even safe to drive at this point, Diagnostic is complete 10/30 and I am expected to pay almost $1000.00 worth of work which in my opinion is a crock of you know what!1. Differential Service2.Transfer Case Service3.Transmission Flush4. AlignmentThese issues should have never passed an inspection for vehicle to be sold. I strongly believe that the success of any business depends on the level of customer service it provides. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect the standards I expect from a reputable dealership!

Had a great experience with Gurley Leep... we're from Grand Rapids, MI but I was looking for a very specific car. When I checked in with them on availability (after seeing the car on their website) Christian went out of his way to shoot a quick video of the car in their lot and show me each rim as well as the interior of the car. Throughout the process he was kind, personable and knowledgable.I can't remember the name of the gentleman who made our financing possible, but he was also super helpful and friendly.I drove out of there with the car I've been wanting for years, but wasn't sure I could get... Gurley Leep made that possible while other dealerships were "keeping an eye out..." (Not their fault - it's tough out there finding a used car, particularly a manual transmission... in black... But what can I say... Gurley Leep had it available and were extremely accommodating in getting me in the driver's seat.)Multiple people checked on us many times to make sure we were being taken care of, and we always were... Nice place, go check 'em out.

NEVER GO HERE!! I will turn everyone I know away from this dealership. The manager lied to my face within 15 minutes of offering me a cheaper price for my Honda CRV. Ever since they have lied and just charged me bills for service that isn't even relative to the issue. THEY ARE WORTHLESS LIARS AND THIEVES. My close friend purchased a Honda and they never maintenance it at all, and up charged her after she bought it for all issues.

I brought my vehicle in for a recall fix. I am fair with my reviews and want to say that the process to get my vehicle fixed for the recall was sufficient and explained well. However, I am leaving this review as a WARNING for future customers. The service department is set up too well. That seems like a strange comment, but what I mean is that they spell everything out and make it seem very professional to price gouge you. I thought "wow it is nice for them to do a vehicle inspection even with just bringing my vehicle in for a recall fix." I was mistakenly wrong. If I was a customer that knew very little about vehicles, I would have been out $2K for fixes by just agreeing out of fear that I had multiple "Immediate repairs found." A couple examples that blew my mind: 1. They wanted to charge me $588.64 to replace my rear brakes (materials cost me a total of $180, and if I went with them they would've charged me over $400 for brake replacement labor - THAT IS CRAZY) & 2. They wanted to charge me for a whole new tire because "I had a nail in my side wall" - this was completely wrong and I plugged the nail hole that was noticeably no where near my side wall of my tire. They wanted to charge me $228.85 for something I fixed for $10. This is my note to future customers to be careful with this service departments pricing. They spell everything out and make it seem professionally quoted out so you don't ask and just agree to the pricing to ensure a safe driving vehicle. Do your research so you aren't out big money just because they seem right and professional. I am attaching an image for all to see the astronomical pricing for these "Immediate repairs needed."

This dealership is amazing! I had my previous vehicle for 11 years and it was time to get a newer vehicle. I ended up getting a 2023 CRV and absolutely love it! Christian was my sales guy and he is so personable and helpful. Being a female it can feel intimidating to go to the dealership. My experience at other dealerships aren’t the greatest so I wasn’t sure what to expect. My husband was with me but I was still nervous. After speaking to Christian about what I wanted, all of the nervousness was gone. He directed all questions to me regarding the vehicle and explaining all of the features. I felt no pressure or uncomfortable at anytime when I was there. The financing guy, John, was no different. He was just as nice, helpful and personable. My husband was impressed at the level of professionalism and how they treated us that he would recommend this dealership. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this dealership to anyone wanting a Honda or any vehicle. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Pat Kavanaugh was an excellent salesman. Listened to me and did a great job of giving me options based on my wants as well as being very knowledgeable. The manager, DeAngelo on the, other hand was terrible to work with. We walked out without finalizing the sale.

Bought a used Ford Escape for my son less than one year ago for about $17k. Was assured it was in great shape and since I'm not a car guy, I didn't know what to look for. Within about 8 months of buying it, the muffler fell off. Turns out it was held up by metal wire that rusted out. In fact, most of the exhaust system was rusted and in poor shape, which came with a $2k quote to fix. They never disclosed any of this information after their "thorough inspection." This is why I hate dealing with used car salesmen.

Absolute Disaster traded in my 2022 civic a month ago for a 2023. Sure they are great friendly till they get your money. It’s been nothing but a headache I would not suggest this dealer to anyone. I’ve bought a lot of new cars and never been treated so poorly and to top it off today has been almost a month since I got the car and yet have not received anything in the mail. Then find out today from Secretary of State they just threw on my plate from my other civic and told me it was transferred I was all set. So this whole time I’ve been driving illegally they we’re supposed to give me temporary plate which I demanded today and received. Then proceed to tell me I have to go register the car myself. When the day I got the car they told me it was all taken care of. Not to mention 2 days after getting the car I went into service department to purchase floor mats and the man at the counter was so extremely rude that I decided not to purchase them there I went to another dealership.

Terrible experience. Will never recommend this dealership to anyone! I bought a Buick from them July of 2022 (not even a full year yet). It started running a little weird, so I took it into service it and they said nothing was wrong with it. I kept saying there has to be because of the way it was driving they finally said they would do a transmission flush at THEIR expense since I just bought it from them. However the Elkhart location didn't have the fluid so they sent me to Mishawaka where they said they would NOT pay the expense and that was never relayed to them. So when my vehicle started acting worse, I took it to a different dealership due to my poor experience at Gurley Leep and they're telling me I have to replace my transmission. Gurley Leep sold me a faulty vehicle and did nothing to help when I complained. I have shared this terrible experience with many people who have also experienced similar issues.
