I wish I could give Chase zero stars... after being a customer for over 5 years, I got an email stating my checking account was frozen due to "fraud activity" and that it was going to be closed so I needed to call. I called within the same hour of receiving the email, and after being put on hold for five minutes, the rep came back on and stated "yes we are closing your account due to you being a risk. if you have direct deposit, please contact them to cancel that". when I asked why/how it was decided I was a risk, NO explanation was given other than "if you read through the agreement, we have the right to close your account without explanation". when I asked how I could get the remaining balance from my account, I was told the account will be closed in ten days and a check will be sent - I am unable to go to an ATM, go into a branch, or transfer money onto my apple wallet in order to get these funds. I asked the account to be closed now so a check could be sent, and they told me that is not how it works. so, the money is stuck until Chase decides when or even if they will send a check out. I asked about my auto loan I have with them, and I am able to keep that, but I am unable to keep a checking account with them... so I am a risk for a checking account, but not for a car loan (that doesn't make much sense). When I asked to speak to a manager due to not receiving much assistance I was told "the decision is final and will not change so you will not talk to anyone else". The rep was extremely condescending and spoke too fast to fully understand. While I can be understanding of a business' practices, I am not understanding of the lack of empathy or willingness to offer assistance/a better understanding of the situation. After reading other reviews/stories online, this has happened to THOUSANDS of people (from business to personal accounts) and many still have not received the funds that were in their account when it was closed.

I wish there was a zero stars option. I walked in to make an account. No one besides employees were in the branch. They told me they couldn't open an account for me because they were busy and had an appointment coming in 30 minutes from then. Also I tryed to call this branch and never get anyone to answer. The manager and staff needs replaced immediately. JP is turning over in his grave.

I cashed a check on 6/1/21. Today, 6/4/21, someone deemed that check to be suspect. It was legit. So, instead of calling me, Simonton Lake Chase WITHDREW the check amount from my account, causing my account to be overdrawn. Simonton Lake staff is clueless. Not at all helpful today. Told me. I needed to wait for a reject to come in the mail and then bring it back to deposit. Are you kidding me? This was the most ridiculous situation I’ve ever encountered. They didn’t bother to check it out. Just took the money out of my account. Do not bank here!!!!

I was in the teller line when a gentleman approached the line with a toolbox stated he was there for work and he was greeted by the branch manger who did not exactly welcome him. She was very rude and short with the young man who stated he drove multiple hrs to complete the work. After very rudely telling the gentleman he was not welcome and could not accommodate him despite his saying he got the ok to come do the work. I only overheard all this but seeing how the lady had treated the young man I do not understand how or why she was so rude let alone in a industry where customer service and care should be everything.The gentleman was obviously overwhelmed with how the manger was being with him and If she is willing to get that rude with someone who is doing work for the company she works for.it makes me wonder how well she would treat a regular customer. I will be doing my business at the other chase locations.

Such a great bank! Chase has amazed me in so many ways and they are so helpful in any situation. The staff is always so happy! Nothing better to make your day than another person making you smile.

Would I be reviewing a bank that I have used for many years if I won't give it a five-star rating? Chase is great and this branch is my favorite, not just because it is located near me, but it is easy-in the lot, a few steps to the door, and you can get in line for a teller or just go to one of the 2 ATM machines to do your business. Grab a cup of coffee too if you want. I also use Chase to pay all my bills online and many other uses as well. They have not disappointed me in any way. What else can I say?

Never had a problem with them, been with chase for 6 years and been going to this specific location for about 5 of those 6. Great bank, helpful staff, love it.
