I’ve gone here quite a bit and it’s always hit or miss. Most employees are very talented but if you get sat with the manager - ask for someone else! She is too worried about her employees and running the salon to focus on your nails. When I arrived, I told her one of my nails was cracked and she agreed to fix it. She started using an electric tool, wasn’t looking at my hands at all, and broke my nail off completely. She also made two of my fingers bleed while buffing my nails because, again, she wasn’t looking at my hands. I probably won’t be returning since I left in so much pain.

I had booked an appointment and they were packed when I walked in. I stood at the desk WITHOUT acknowledgement over five minutes. There was four people there ahead of me, but without appointments and they took them before me. Wondering.....why make an appointment, when they lie and don't honor it. I would give zero stars, but Google doesn't allow it.

When I sat down and the lady started filing my nails, she really ground down into my nail. I'm pretty convinced I'm going to lose one of my nails here in the next couple of weeks. All of my nails have damage to them. Its been about 3 weeks now since I got them done and I only had them on for a week because my nails kept hurting. When I removed them, my natural nail looks horrible. She was very quick with the process too. No taking her time for quality of the nails. The acrylic nails started looking bad the 3rd day I had them. They were also way too thick, which probably is the reason why my real nails hurt when they were on. I guess it's hit or miss with the customers and who is going to have a great experience. Everyone should have a great experience that walks through that door. I even tipped $20, which was unnecessary. They lost a good paying customer. I will not be returning.

This is one of the worst places I have EVER been to! Not only did they over charge me, but they argued the process with me first, but the man that did my nails did a truly horrible job! I had to go home and fix them myself! I tried asking him 3 separate times to fix them, but he just went on about his business. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and, as you can guess, I'm NEVER going back!

Hell of a experience I tell ya, before the actual pedicure started i was sitting in the chair swatting away the gnats that kept flying around which is pretty crazy since they have chemicals all around the place.. but finally i’m sitting in the chair getting my pedicure and hear a song a enjoy so i close my eyes and mouth sink and started choking on a gnat. Then to really top it off as she’s finishing she told me to be careful which confused me because my toes should’ve been dry but i look down and my toenail is hanging by a thread so she managed to carefully cut my whole toenail off. NEVER AGAIN

So I went there just a few days ago and when I first left my nails looked fine. But over the last 2 days they have continued to bubble up and they just look awful now. Maybe its just me being new to acrylic nails but I feel like they should last longer than this.Also whoever did my pedicure was rough as hell basically RIPPING any hangnails I had off my feet

The Hively location is best in Elkhart. Peaceful ambiance, beautiful couple runs it. Serene! Plus a great nail job and a fair price.
