“My son and now wife married here last month, and with the wonderful Wedding Coordinator, Eva. The grounds and staff were absolutely perfect! I will tell you, it rained and rained that day and they so wanted their ceremony outdoors before the indoor reception.

Eva, the wedding coordinator, had a calm under that stress and pressure of logistics and timing. She was masterful in working with the couple, the affected vendors and other people on pivoting plans and then even communicating to the arriving guests about Plan A or Plan B as we watched radar. Well, it ALL worked out and the ceremony happened outdoors with some sprinkles, but oh the bride (my daughter-in-law!) received her dream to be outdoors for her lovely ceremony.

Eva was poised and organized and friendly and professional. She worked closely with the bridal party, the separate gals and guys portions, the catering, the florist, the musicians, the photographers and DJ. She was extremely respectful and mindful in her considerations of who needed to be communicated about what and when. ALSO, at the rehearsal, I almost forgot to mention, she really "set the stage" for the wedding day, obviously running through the rehearsal, but very importantly reminding all that if anything came up to leave the bride and groom on their own to let them enjoy their day and that's what she and the bridal party appointees were there to help with the day of the wedding.

Now, the Meyer's Castle was just MARVELOUS. So many guests were enthralled and in awe of the grounds and interior spaces and details. The cocktail hour in the "speakeasy" feeling place was awesome with a live band playing, and good room to mingle and enjoy the setting, and then the dining room area and dance floor that followed were spacious, safe, ample to see and hear everything. What an awesome day it was and memories to forever be cherished at Meyer's Castle, and having Eva on board for the event was so extremely helpful and put the day at ease in good hands and competence. “A nice venue for small reception. Staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. Food, which consisted of hors d'oeuvre (charcuterie, bruschette, cheese, fruit, meatballs, etc), was excellent. Culinary pizzas were fantastic. (Margarita pizza was definately thumbs up good.)The building, which is a designated historic building, is very handicap accessible with wide door openings and room to manuever. Even the outdoor patio, which is well shaded, was handicap accessible since is it astroturf instead of grass.There is a lack of parking dedicated to the venue but there is plenty of public parking within a short walk. The building was a little warm. Being a historic building the owners were probably limited in air conditioning options. For a small reception it would be fine. Having the outdoor patio was nice.I would definitely would book a reception at this business!”

“My sorority held our event for the first time this past weekend at this facility, and we were so happy with our choice. The center is clean, modern, well lit and has plenty of free parking. The tables and chairs in our room were beautifully set up well in advance, so we had very little prep work to complete. The customer service provided by the manager and his staff was professional and accommodating. The quality of the food and drink were also very good. I highly recommend this facility for any large scale event.”

“45 minutes from the city really isn’t bad. But that’s where everything really is. The staff is and service is okay. Getting some of the ladies from housekeeping to do their jobs accordingly is like pulling teeth. They offer free laundry whenever the machines are working, they could really be serviced and cleaned ( should be once a week or so) but it’s not the ritz and enjoyed the stay.”

“We had an absolute amazing time at a surprise birthday party. We were downstairs in the bar area. Such a great place to have an event. The staff was fantastic, very attentive to all our needs. The food was delicious, we had the taco bar, fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Kristy the owner was fabulous to deal with while my wife was setting all this up for me.
