My husband and I were travelling through Indiana on our way to O'Hare and flying back to our home in Washington State. We had some extra time so stopped here just to look around since we are considering purchasing some new furniture back home. Cathy greeted us and showed us around. Even after making it clear that we were far from home and wouldn't be buying anything, she continued to be friendly and hospitable, chatting with us and inviting us to look around as long as we wanted. She was a bright spot in many miles of heavy traffic! So while we couldn't buy anything from Groen's, we certainly would if we lived in the area. The store is filled with many quality items. Please check it out when you are looking for new furniture!

My husband and I have purchased multiple pieces from their Dyer and Crown Point location and can’t say enough great things about our experience and quality of furniture! Friendly staff, competitive prices, and quality furniture. We love our furniture and loved that Cathy help put together a floor plan to help decide which pieces would fit best and where.

Wonderful experience helping me buy a lift chair after an accident. It was delivered the next morning by two perfect young gentlemen. Whole experience was outstanding. I would recommend them anytime. Flexsteel seems to last forever.

Willing to work with customers.We tried several recliners and selected and ordered two. Once delivered, we decided one just wasn't as comfortable as it seemed in the store. We asked if we could return it and order a different one. They said yes. When we exchanged it, we were even given a small refund of the difference in the price.

We are very happy with Groen's Fine Furniture. We purchased a Flexsteel sofa with two power recliners almost 5 years ago. One of the recliners frame's bend and the sofa was sitting odd. We called Groen's and it was still under warranty. They ordered the parts from Flexsteel, picked up the sofa, fixed it and brought it back to our home. The parts were covered, all we had to pay was $210.00, that included pick up and return, replacing the parts and the upholstery tech to fit the cloth back perfectly. We paid $1,700.00 for the sofa nearly 5 years ago. Groen's did a GREAT job and steam cleaned the sofa before returning it to us. I'm sure we'll get another 5 years out of this same sofa. We will definitely purchase from Groen's.

My husband and I stopped in after looking at several other furniture stores, Debbie was patient with us regarding our specific style, she was understanding and very knowledgeable. We purchased a sofa, love seat & recliner. Can't wait to receive our new furniture.
