As others have pointed, this store advertises online that it is open till 10pm, but nearly every day you will find a new handmade sign taped to the door that says, "Closing at 9pm." I just experienced that tonight, along with two more cars that pulled into the lot after me. It's ridiculous and unprofessional.

I wouldn’t even waste the time if it’s past 8pm. I like calling the store when I see this sign posted in the window, because someone always picks up. Last night there was an employee who got into a car accident so they were short staffed. Week before…same thing ?. Staffing isn’t short enough to stock the shelves and answer the phone till your scheduled time, just not letting people with money in.I would tell the owners to maybe be more aware of poor employees and lack of caring at all but I think it’s a habit they picked up from the owners. Don’t be fooled by the stock photos the place is in shambles

BUYER BEWARE!Too bad I can't give 0 stars to write this. They close at 10pm, got there about 9:45pm for flu meds. Lights on doors locked 2 cars outside. Another customer showed up about 9:50 as his wife needed meds. I told him we should both call again tomorrow and of course no one answers the phone. Went to gas city and luckily they had flu meds. Cars at DG were running now so I went over to question why they closed early but they were probably watching the cameras.

I have been here twice now and I am not impressed. I looked around the entire store 3-4 times looking for anyone that worked here and couldn’t find a soul. They there’s no one checking you out so it’s hard for some people to do so. It’s brand new and is only decently clean. There’s always stuff on the floor or missing off the shelves. The prices aren’t great either. Even their “clearance “ is about the same price as regular stores. I won’t go back unless I have to.

Stood at register for 10 minutes waiting for assistance, since everything is self checkout. The only employee was outside smoking with her child, was aggravated with me for needing assistance. A Quick trip turned into a 25 minute ordeal. Will not be returning.

there’s literally never anyone to help you, you end up standing at the checkout counter waiting what feels like an eternity for the one employee working to notice anything. the guy with the long hair needs to really pay attention more and learn what deodorant is.

This is from a neighbor who recently visited.Just left Dollar General & will never go back. Of course no one up front. One self check did say “cash or card”. I even pushed button for cash when it asked. Came time to pay, kept spitting out $$. Called for help. Little bitc$ came & had the gall to say “ Obviously you didn’t read card only. I thought you people out this way were educated.” I was speechless but bitc$y enough to dump what I had bagged onto her counter & walk out. ?Upper management needs to make changes quick. Word of mouth travels quick in todays world.

One of the worst Dollar Generals. Yes it is clean, it's new it should be. BUT, they do not put sales stickers on anything. The prices that are online(that stores prices) versus in store are completely different. The employees have no idea what they are doing. On more than one occasion, one of the employees was sitting out front smoking. Today no one was watching up front, I had to go find someone, while the other employee was outside smoking with her 3 children that came back into the store with her and screamed mommy while she was trying to attend to customers. And then had the little one sit on a box and play on her phone while she continued to help customers.
