Dr. A is an amazing veterinarian! She's very knowledgeable and caring with my cat and dog. Friendly staff and a wonderful vet are the perfect combination for a great experience for your pets. Highly recommend!

Negligent. Not once, but twice did this establishment fail to communicate what location I need to take my pet to for a scheduled appointment. I always took him to the Dyer location, so naturally that is where I'd always go.. but on two occasions the Dyer location was closed when I showed up and when I called the office they told me I should have gone to the Steger location. Why was that not communicated before hand?! ? the second time they failed to communicate which location I needed to go to, the appointment was to bring my dog in to cross the rainbow bridge. As if that wasnt already difficult, but to add to it, they didn't tell me to go to Steger. So I had to drag my sickly dog out of the car twice and mentally prepare for his death TWICE. When I called for clarification, there was zero sympathy and no apology. In addition, once my dog did pass away, no condolences were given and no empathy was shown. It was all business. I'll never take another pet here.

Quick service! I was worried about my cat and the doctor eased us that it was just a injured tongue. With meds he was back to normal. Received follow up calls and just a great experience also no wait time upon arrival

We've been going to Advanced Medical since it opened. Before that, we saw Dr. A at County Line in South Chicago Heights. Just a wonderful place for pets. Been going to her for around 20 years.

We saw Dr. Askounis for our brand new puppy’s wellness check and vaccines. This vet clinic is great. First, it was very clean and the staff are friendly. Second and most importantly, Dr. A really took her time with us to go over any questions we had as new puppy parents, which I really appreciated. If you are looking for a vet that cares and takes the time, I would highly recommend coming here!

We really like the doctor as she always takes her time and really explains what she thinks and why. Sometimes this can cause her to get behind and we have had to wait a while, which can be frustrating but understood it's because she really takes care of her patients, the animals and their people.

I'm a new client that brought my cats here for a rabies shot. My cats are hard to handle outside of home. In the past I have been prescribed meds for veterinary appointments. Scheduling an appointment was easy. The day of my appointment I was promptly taken to a room where I waited for about 45 minutes to an hour after my appointment time. At the appointment my 1st cat was hissing and upset so the vet said well we can't do an exam on you. They were able to give both of my cats their rabies shots in the hind area while another vet tech held them with a towel over them. Neither cat had an exam and they were prescribed anxiety meds for future appointments. When I paid my bill it was almost $300. I was in shock and when I reviewed the bill I was charged $108 for the exam portion. I asked why I was charged when there was no exam. It was explained to me in the state of Indiana in order to give a rabies shot or prescribe meds there has to be an exam. However, if I give my cats meds and want to bring them back within 30 days they will do the exam for "free". Personally, for me this is enough to never bring any of my pets back here. The whole thing is pretty unethical. So they have no problem going against the state rules but charging me for something they never did Is ok. Maybe if this had been explained to me prior I would have been more ok with paying an exam fee when my cats never had an exam. Or shame on me for not asking before hand questions about pricing but the experience rubbed me the wrong way,

Everyone was very nice and the doc was well informed and knowledgeable. They could use some more staff, but the wait wasn't too bad. I did get some sticker shock when paying the bill. More pricey than I've typically seen with other vets... This will probably drive some decisions in the future.

The staff is caring and professional. Our cat Jack was in for his rabies vaccination a his yearly check up. It was his first visit to this vet since we moved from Illinois. They made him welcome and let him acclimate to the surroundings at his own pace. They did not rush. We will definitely be back.
