Ok. So I live in Anderson IN and have a triple axle hauling trailer in Ky (4 hours from my home), to pick up n bring home and an f150 I want to haul on it as well . It's an old one so it needed R14.5 in tires. Hard to find and u must order.. SO, I see his add for 14.5 tires and call him. He says he has them and they're good. Not new but road worthy. I drive 3 hr round trip TO STATE LINE and pay 300 for them. He loads them into my vehicle. I tell him what I am using them for ( trailer and hauling a truck ontop ) from ky to Anderson. I GIVE Doug 300 bucks and he loads 6 tires in my vehicle and i drive 1.5 hr home. Next day I drive 4 hr to Ky. I go to a tire shop to get the tires mounted. All 6 tires. They are still inside my vehicle where he loaded them at this point) We take them out and the tire shop Mounts em on, then they rinse them off because they were covered in dry mud from when I bought them from Doug .... and that's when you get floored my friend. ALL 6 TIRES are CRACKED TO HIGH HEAVEN. not just side walls but between all the treads!! That shop says you can NOT drive that trailer with these tires on hwy, let alone hauling anything on trailer, let alone all the way to INDY you'll get blowouts. Since I spent 300 on tires 300 on gas so far
And 90 for mounting, I desperately wanted a different answere, to just get home safely or different tires. So i try 3 more shops. They ALL can NOT believe that anyone would sell those tires. 2nd is I can not drive the trailer home let alone load a truck on it with bad tires. Also, my old tires were in better shape however they were disposed of once I bought his rotten cracked ones ... so I txt him pics and let him kno my 4 yr old kid and I are by ourselves in KY and I can't even tow trailer home because of rotted cracked tires and I had to rent a storage space for time being. Which cost $$$
Long story short, he said he would refund me if I had issues.
So at this point im out aprox 900 bucks. Hadvto stay 1 night hotel, and put trailer in storage in ky Trailer n f150 are still in ky and he now says inorder to get my REFUND( 300 $ BACK) I need to bring him his rotten tires first!!! So ya I smell scam as he knows theyre in KY until i can buynew tires and make the trip again... I'm out way more than the 300 and still have to order and wait on tires. Then Go back to ky n unmount his and mount new ones. Then drive all 6 of his bad tires in my vehicle from KY 4 HRS Then past my home and 1.5 hrs to his location.. tons of $$ on fuel and I run diesel.... just cuz of him selling rotten tires which everyone who sees them is shocked how bad they are... they are garbage and dangerous.. what kind of person takes advantage of a female like that. I bet he wouldn't do that to a man... . I'm a single mom of kids and a new widow as well.. not to mention money is super super tight . Should have just paypal the 300 at least. Now since he wants to play games im considering attorney because when all is said n done which is when I have the trailer n truck finally hauled home will be atleast another 300 fuel trip and the purchase of new tires 650 so all in all aprox 2k will be spent in total ,, due to being lied to ?

Went here a couple weeks ago. Only given two stars because of the fact that he has the part I was looking for and I've been looking for quite a while. Everything else was a disaster. Long story short as most businesses are he's only in it for the buck he's not willing to help a person who really needs help very vague on where your part is you have to go find it but it was a hard to find part and he he did have one so and he did take it off the vehicle for me.

Very reasonable on auto parts. Remember this is a business not a back yard pick a part place . Doug is very helpful with parts and prices.
