Went to Wiers shopping for my daughter's first car. Purchased a 2015 Kia Soul. $7,000 cash down. Small balance financed. Due to some confusion between the dealership and the finance company Capital One, was asked to return vehicle. Returned vehicle upon request. Was accused of trying to steal vehicle, even though vehicle was returned and Wiers had my $7,000. If you want to be called a liar and insulted when you call them on it and provide proof you are not lying only to have them then change their story to fit their narrative, by all means please shop at Wiers. Do yourself a favor and go down to Fieldhouse. Requested a call from an owner but that hasn't happened.

I went into Wiers approximately six weeks ago to look at a Chevy Equinox. Prior to going there I filled out the KBB instant cash offer on the Wiers website. Within minutes I received an email that my offer was $32,500. When I got to Wiers the used car manager looked at my vehicle (which only had 1,500 miles on it) and said he would only give $23,000 on the trade. He said he not care what the market value was and would only pay substantially less than the original sticker. I had been to Carmax which had offered me $34,000 and two other car dealers which had offered me $32,000 dollars on a trade. The Ford Maverick I had was a high demand vehicle with limited availability. They were selling on used car lots for $38,000 to $40,000. The salesman Josh Talaski was condescending and dismissive and told me to go to another dealer. This may be a place to buy a car, but certainly not to trade one. I called the manager of Kelly Blue Book and they said they could not understand the vast difference between their offer and Wiers. It is interesting that the used car manager is also a minister, but is only ethical on Sundays.I ended up going to a dealer in Knox, Indiana where they gave me $32,000 for my truck. They sold it for $38,000. It was a win win for both of us, and was also treated with extreme respect.

In my 30+ years of purchasing vehicles of many different makes/models and from various dealerships, I have never been treated so poorly as by salesperson Josh Talaski at Wiers. He was the most rude, disrespectful and condescending person I've ever dealt with. He is probably 30 years younger than me but he talked to me as if I was a kindergartner and I knew absolutely nothing. Maybe it was because I was a female looking to purchase a pickup truck?? I have no idea why but he was literally so mean to me out of nowhere. I was just looking to buy a truck, not sure what his issue was. Flat out told me he "could care less if I buy a car from them or not", and this was about 5 minutes after meeting him and before I even test drove the car. Very interesting sales tactics he has, for sure. After an offer was given for my trade in, I emailed him the next day asking if they could get closer to KBB trade in value of my car. Josh replied asking what I was wanting for the car and that they wanted to work with me to get the deal done so he would look at it and get back to me. He called me awhile later saying they couldn't come up on price at all and he just completely went off on me. I have never seen someone be so rude for no reason, especially when you are a salesman and trying to earn someone's business. I called my husband at work and told him he needs to find another truck because I wouldn't buy a car from Josh or that dealership if it was FREE. Seriously. My husband called and spoke to the sales manager to no avail, he really seemed uninterested in what happened and had no solution for our issue with Josh or the way he treated me, other than he would handle the sale for us if we decide to buy. Lucky for us, the next day my son found an even better truck at Bosak in Burns Harbor. It had many upgrades and the excellent customer service from the salesman and sales managers at Bosak made me happy to spend more money on our vehicle to get what we wanted and they made the buying process so stress free it was actually fun. It was a pleasure doing business with Bosak! Good luck to Wiers, they will never see our face again and we will warn everyone we know to stay away!

I received an advanced diagnostic alert from OnStar about the engine and transmission for my 2020 Tahoe. I made an appointment at Wier’s Chevrolet in Demotte. They had to repair the oil sending unit and pump. I received great customer care from Johnny and Brandi in the Service department. Thank you!

This is a Dream Cadillac Escalade !!!! Husband and I were searching for a vehicles on cargurus. Saw a vehicle that really got our eye. The problem was that we are from Texas and these vehicle was in Demotte Indiana. Even though it was far we decided to email them to see if it was available and what we could do to get these vehicle. In within minutes this guy named Joe responded my email (by the way very friendly). When I told him that was the only vehicle that caught my eye and liked. He moved really quickly with the process. He would call every day to give me updates on it. Then within a few days he calls and tells me Congratulations on your new purchase. My husband flew from Texas to Indianapolis and they send one of their workers to pick him up from the airport. Then he followed up if my husband had arrived safely and if I had driven my Escalade. Thanks Joe Even though we were far away it seemed that we were actually there. Thanks for making this process so fast and easy. Daughter named the Cadillac Escalade Joe. (she names every vehicle we had).

I was in the market for a new truck and in my area the selection was slim to non and what I could find the dealer did not want to work or negotiate price. I had a set monthly pay that I wanted to hit and style of truck I was looking for. I shot them a email around 6:30pm not expecting and immediate responses. Within 20mins I was speaking with and AWESOME salesman (Shawn Sprang) I told Shawn what I was looking for and where I stood payment wise. Within an hour we had a deal written up and I was on my was to pick my new truck up , one of the smoothest and easiest transaction EVER! Super friendly group of people they go out of their was to make the car buy experience all about you! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

After withdrawing $10,000 and making a 3-hour trip to Wiers Auto Wayne Deyounge gave our appointment away last minute potentially selling the truck to someone else. Wayne talked to us not 10 minutes before we showed up he knew where we were (10 min. away) we had cash and hand. Never in my wildest dreams would I think a small town in Indiana would have such little dignity. The manager came out and talked down to me like I was a fifteen-year-old punk. A roost of slick slick salesmen.

We just had a great experience at Wiers!! Tony Hernandez and the entire Wiers team were so helpful - we were in and out within 2 hours, driving home in a new car!! They treat you like family and I would highly recommend Wiers to anyone in the market for a new vehicle. Thank you Wiers!!!

John Mercer was great and easy to deal with. Came in with a preapproval letter for financing and they were able to beat that rate by another 1 and 1/2 points. By far the most painless, easiest and fastest car buying experience. Impressed!

I had an agreement with them on a car. Got a check from my bank and was told that they sold it online while I was doing my financing. I’ve never had a car dealership be so unprofessional. My guess is they locked me in and used me as leverage to cut a better deal online. Don’t trust them to do the right thing.

A vehicle we wanted was sold out from under us by a senior salesperson. These unethical jerks screw the customer and their fellow employees. Would have loved to have shopped locally and helped get our very nice salesperson a good commission, but cannot support a business that allows this kind of behavior UPDATE: In response to Weirs response...is it also your policy to not let other interested parties (who had an APPOINTMENT to come in to start the sales paperwork) know that you had sold the vehicle but instead have them drive all the way to your dealership and spring it on them then? I stand by my original post.
