“Great customer service and got my vehicle's service done in a timely manner. Only one minor thing and it is not so much a complaint as just a little disappointment. When I checked in the service representative offered a complementary wash for the vehicle. I told him that would be great and my wife would appreciate it since it was her vehicle. When I went to get in the vehicle to leave it hadn't been washed. Just an oversight.”

“Our last three new vehicles have been VW's from this location and from the same sales associate, Alex Farley. I believe an outstanding salesman is able to take care of his employer's criteria and the customer's needs simultaneously. Over the years, Alex has executed this with perfection. He has built a positive business relationship with my family on every visit and after-the-sale check-ins, as well as his immediate response to an emergency my wife faced. The dealership had just finished repairs on her Tiguan right at service closing time. She had made it only a few miles when the same problem happened again so she returned to VW. My wife and son had already been at VW for 8 hours and when Alex saw my wife's frustration and disappointment, he spearheaded the efforts in obtaining a loaner car which was an ordeal in itself. This is just part of the reason we still drive all the way to Lafayette to buy vehicles from Alex. I want to also give Ostin Clark kudos on his down-to-earth approach as the Finance Manager.”

“Took my Subaru Forester to Lyons in downtown Lafayette last week for an alignment. They did it in less than 30 minutes with an appointment, which was great. Ty told me that the front was out of alignment and he adjusted it so that my new tires will wear down evenly now. Of course, it drives better too. Since it was just the front end, the price was only $69, which is one of the lowest in town. I had a nice chat with Ron the owner while I waited. I think he’s been in business for 59 years, which is amazing. A few months ago, they also diagnosed my back right wheel bearing that was out, which was unbelievable for a Subaru at only 40,000 miles because of their usual high-quality.
Give Lyons a try, since I think you will have a good experience like I did recently.”

“My daughter and I drove her new-to-us vehicle from Madison, WI to Purdue for a college visit. Halfway to Chicago i realized I never took it to my excellent mechanic to give it a once over. But, too late at that point.Saturday morning we decided to take a little tour around the area to get a feel for it. And of course just as we were getting ready to drive home, the check engine light came on. Almost 300 miles from home - not a good feeling. I started looking for repair shops. I saw Herrera's was open. The reviews all said how pleased they were with the service and what a great guy Mr. Herrera is.Turns out the reviews were all true and then some. I explained the situation. He offered to run a diagnostic and possibly if it was a quick job he could do it, but he didn't want to promise anything.Turned out it was a coolant sensor and he called for a replacement part immediately. He said we didn't have to do the repair- he could return the part if we didn't use it. He wasn't pushy or impatient and was not at all condescending when he explained the problen. I gave him the go ahead and much sooner than I expected it was finished. My daughter and I were surprised at how reasonable the bill was.I realized later that I set myself up to get a highly inflated bill by being honest about our situation. Fortunately Mr. Herrera was just as honest back. I cannot thank him enough, nor can I recommend him highly enough. If my daughter chooses Purdue and has a car with her, she will use Herrera's for service even though there are probably places closer to campus.Service: General repairs & maintenance”

Everywhere else in Lafayette said it would take 3 days at least to look at it, but automotive solutions said that they could look at my car that day to tell me if it was safe to drive and see if they could even fix it that day. Everyone was nice and helpful, and my car was fixed in just a few hours. It seemed like a great community with many satisfied customers, and my experience was also amazing.
