When moving to our current home in 2006 I needed a go-to Drug Store. Tried CVS DANVILLE! Never anywhere else for meds, or other supplies I need. Questions and Service are always Very Satisfying!!

Pharmacy staff is rude and cuts you short when you're speaking. Extremely rude staff and everyone just ignores you until you finally say something to get their attention.

I looked at Google maps for their hours on Saturday evening I called their number and listened to the hours on the phone both said they close at 9:30 on Saturday I got there at five till nine thank goodness I walked in and was able to get what I needed. It looked like they were closing and I asked the manager who is very nice and who had just helped me find what I needed what time they close he said 9 o’clock I said you really should update Google Maps and when you call the store the recording it actually says the store is open until 9:30 PM on Saturday. He replied yes another customer told me that. I leave I get in my car and two people drove up walked up to the door and it’s locked and they are closed and it is just a couple of minutes after 9 PM I am sure that they looked at Google Maps or called before they drove there. I made a suggestion on Google maps to change the hours on there but I can’t change the hours on the phone. People don’t need to waste their gas their time please change your hours on the phone.Today June 21 CVS If you call the store and listen to the recording about the store hours it still says that they are open until 9:30 PM on Saturday this is not correct I will take a picture of the hours On the front door and post it the next time I’m there. I called and asked the clerk she verified they close at 9:00 pm on Saturday.Come on CVS surely you can get this right.Took a picture of hours today June 25.I called corporate and asked them to update their hours. They don’t care about customers being inconvenienced by their not caring to update their hours on the recording you listen to when you call or google maps.

After my last poor experience, where the employee behind the front counter was too busy with a personal call to answer any questions and directed me to use the self checkout instead, I decided to leave this addition review from my most recent experience. Came in looking for a couple things (one of which was simply latex/nitrile gloves) After walking about every aisle without finding the gloves myself I went to the front counter and asked where I might look. I was directed to aisle 14 where I had already looked but I went back again to double check. With no gloves in sight I returned to the front counter and when I let the employee know I didn't find any, the response was "we might be out" no offer to help look, no offer to check if they were for sure out, no alternate solutions, just another poor experience with bad customer service. There were very few customers so this issue wasn't due to them being too busy or short handed to accommodate. I would recommend Walmart over CVS at this point.

Whoever was closing at the drive through pick up window around 7:45/8pm on May 24,2022 needs some customer service skills. I had just drove over to the pharmacy to pick up ear drops after leaving the doc finding out I had covid and an ear infection. I didn't want to walk into the store and spread my germs everywhere. I pull up and the lady had a hard time pulling up my insurance and I could tell she was kind of in a rush. Instead of taking the time to try it again or call my insurance, she told me I can come back tomorrow and call my insurance since I couldn't afford the ear drops without the insurance. I also needed some regular mucinex and they have a sign outside of the window that says to ask someone to grab it for you. So I asked if I could get some mucinex and she said she can't give that to me over the window and they were about to close..... so now i understand why she was pushing me out so fast. So sorry for being an inconvenience and needing my meds. So I went home with zero medication and a throbbing ear. I went back this morning (the next day) after spending over an hour on the phone with my insurance company, when I got to the window the girl helping was the sweetest and she took my insurance card and SHOCKER, she ran it with zero issues. Then when I asked her about the mucinex she told me she just couldn't sell Mucinex D out the window. So the other lady closing was clearly just in a hurry to get out for the day and she's lucky my ear drums didn't burst and that I could find REGULAR mucinex elsewhere!!!

Normally I think my experience Here is good but I just called and the lady who answered the phone couldn't go look to see if there was something specific I was asking for sold there.

The manager Don,gives 100 to help. The store is always clean,if you find something misplaced or on floor it will not stay longAlso ,Stacy the pharmacist has went way out of her way for me and others. Once when it was my drs fault and I blamed cvs she stayed cool and I went back the next day and she still treated me like I was her #1 priority. This is what it takes , others , not just cvs uppers can see that if the front and back end are working their best ,the rest will move along.I don't know if folks know ,but all cvs have a turnover issue. With this store you would never know. Thank you Danville cvs.

This is the best cvs in all of hendricks county, the pharmacy techs and pharmacist are alway a pleasure to do business with, always professional and polite, even when short handed and swamped by all of these crazy people wanting their covid vaccine!

Pharmacy is a joke. They dont have the help they need and in return they take it out on customers. They cant fill anything on time. When you call to ask questions they are very short. I've called and complained multiple times and nothing is different. I recommend going to another pharmacy

Took 4 days to fill a simple prescription, i had been given a cvs refund for 7$ for being over charged so i applied it to my co pay. They refused to take it saying they didn't take checks. The check was clearly marked Cvs. I asked the manager, he said it could be counterfeit and take it to a bank, I also am a registered cvs card holder. i found this to be insulting and extremely annoying and rude. Don't use this cvs go to avon or plainfield. this one is substandard and has very very poor employees.
