This is a family owned business . They take the time to fit your needs and explain what products will best suit you . I drive over an hour to get there but it's with it . You can always get service with a smile?

Ordered a MD PDX Pistol (7.62x39) via there website on 7/28/22. Website was user friendly, easy to navigate and allowed me to clearly see their current inventory and what could be ordered and shipped to the store from their warehouse.On 7/29, received a call from the owner to confirm my order and he asked if I had questions or needed additional assistance. I discussed my need for additional magazines for the weapon and explained I was looking for a low profile optic setup, and a few additional accessories. He committed to researching the options for each of my asks, and let me know he should have some answers when my weapon comes in to the store on 8/1 or 8/2 (at the earliest).On 8/1 (today), received a call from the owner letting me know my weapon had arrived (exceptionally fast) and was ready for pickup. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted and received assistance immediately. After inspecting the weapon and completing the required paperwork, I was amazed not only that the owner had done the research for the magazines (3 thirty rounders) which he was able to have available when I arrived, but also had the low profile optic, BUIS and 2 point sling in stock. I purchased them all (1 stop shopping at its' finest)!The cherry on top...they were able to throw my optic/sights on while I waited, while having some great conversation with their team...can not ask for a better interaction with a first time customer...who is now a VERY loyal customer to Sheepdog Armory.Thank you gentlemen for your professionalism, commitment, and above par customer service!

I been shopping with these guys for sometime and they always come through for me. I always get greeted when coming in; weather im shopping or just stopping by i still receive great customer service. They also have the best price beating everyone in the area along with their accessories. Their selection is solid from rifles, shotguns, and pistols. They have some of the leading brands from glock, sig, fn, and daniel defense. Overall this is and always will be my go to gun shop.

Old man is so rude. Too bad because the younger guy there is very nice. Maybe keep the crabby old rude guy in back and let the young guy who is very professional deal with customers. This place won’t last long with that guy treating people the way he does. Too bad too because I’d really love to have a good gun shop in Crown Point. They’re getting harder and harder to find unfortunately.

Initially there was some confusion when doing a transfer. It seems that UPS sent two packages from PSA at the same time and the packages did not have the names of the purchasers. The other purchaser was not 21 so they decided to then ship the packages back. When I arrived they informed me of the situation and at this point I thought I was going to have to deal with PSA on trying to get my transfer back. After leaving, they called me back 15 minutes later and informed me that their UPS driver was back on his way. They gave me my transfer for free and they were nothing but nice and cordial throughout the experience. I try to shop local and their pricing is fair and I'd give them a shot if you're in the market for your next purchase.

Got a new gun, went to the range and put a few hundred rounds to break it in and wanted a holster for it. Called them and asked if they had a holster and they were nice enough to set it aside for me. Had rushed cleaning my gun and couldn’t get it back together. So decided to head there anyways and told them about my gun and the owner was nice enough to figure out what was wrong and helped me with it as well as making sure it was clean enough and gave me some tips. Couldn’t recommend them enough, not only have they helped get me the parts or supplies I’ve needed, they went above and beyond. Definitely recommend.
