Renata is very understanding of my pain and my goal to get better. She always has uplifting words of encouragement when I feel stalled in healing. The staff all help each other out and have great attitudes. I appreciate all the explanations of what I’m being taught and why.

I chose Rush Physical Therapy after a consultation with the Physical Therapist, Jessica. I was very confident in my decision. I had been to numerous physical therapists and was transparent about my concerns, experiences, and goals. I was reassured by Jessica that I would receive personalized and progressive care. We spoke about different methods we could try including dry needling, orthotics, etc. The consultation and initial evaluation went really well. She seemed caring and attentive to my concerns. She even commended me for advocating for myself and researching before making a decision. After the initial evaluation, I informed her that it was an impressively thorough evaluation. When sessions began, I worked with the PTA, Christi. She was great to work with and attempted to address my concerns during my sessions. She seemed to really care about the lives of her patients and enjoyed our conversations. After the first session, I made my appointments with Jackie and I asked when the next evaluation would be. I wanted to stay on top of my care plan. I was told that I would be evaluated throughout and would see Jessica before she left in July.I was also informed that Jessica would only be in the office once a week as she normally worked at another location. But I was reassured that she would be available throughout my treatment and would check in via evaluations and the notes left by Christi to adjust and progress my treatment as necessary. I was able to schedule one of my sessions on the day that she would be in the office. However, upon seeing her for the first time since my initial evaluation, she completely ignored me. She didn’t acknowledge me in any way. It was odd as she literally spoke to every patient in the facility. This behavior continued every visit. At one point, I initiated communication on my way out the door and even asked her a question about my injury. Other than that, she never spoke to me or acknowledged me. It was night and day from the consultation and initial evaluation. In addition, my care plan didn’t progress. It was the same every session. None of the methods that Jessica discussed with me were followed up. Nor did she follow up with me to ask how the treatment was going or about my injury. The care plan that was sent to me was never updated, even though I had asked. I did the same routine for a month.Clearly, Jessica never looked over Christi’s notes because there were no changes to my program even though my pain was not getting any better. I had also made it known that I wanted to further discuss and try the techniques that were brought up during my consultation and initial evaluation by the third week. I was eventually told that the day she was in the office had changed. The kicker was that the only time I could be squeezed in for at least one evaluation with her was at a location 30mins away because the one day that she was at the local facility was booked. I finally emailed Jessica directly with my concerns to which the blame was shifted elsewhere and no reasons were given for ignoring me during sessions or why my plan remained the same. She also informed me that she hadn’t heard a response from my insurance after my initial evaluation… This surprised me because this was never brought up the entire month that I had been there. I had to send a follow-up email asking for my care plan to be updated to which I received the same care plan with exercises I had been doing throughout. Though she informed me she would address my concerns at our next (and final) appointment, I knew that she would no longer be available at this facility and there was not enough time (or sessions left) to properly adjust and progress my care plan. Essentially, I would have to start over with a new PT. Clearly, I wasn’t of any importance. Had I not spoken up, I would have continued to be ignored. I ended my sessions and decided to go elsewhere.

Nice facility. Renata is great at what she does. I started coming here because of Renata. I have worked with a few different therapists at different places over the last couple of years after having a surgery and she has been hands down the best. She is truly genuine with patients and very knowledgeable at her craft. I have been lucky to find her and to be receiving care by her.

Christi is the BEST PTA. I’ve had several surgeries and I go to her every time. Nov’2020 I had a total knee replacement and in April’2021 I started playing Volleyball at a competitive level with no pain. She listens and explains each exercise, discusses goals and works you hard. She asked me what I wanted and I told her I want to play volleyball by April. We worked on all aspects of the physical attributes I needed to play SAFELY. After each game I say a silent thank you to her expertise and dedication to my health and happiness. If you need rehab, come here. You will be up and moving in no time.
