I was headed out the other night to run a few errands. To my disappointment, my tire pressure had dropped quite a bit since the dreaded winter weather crept in overnight. ?? I panicked for a min because I have several med issues that makes it quite difficult to do normal things, let alone be out in the nasty cold. But instantly my mind went straight to The Oil Exchange in Crown Point. They have always taken care of me every time I've went to them. I've been a NWI peep for over 40 yrs.Lol. Thank God I live about 8 or so mins from them but it was 5:53pm (they close at 6pm) when i pulled out of my driveway.. So I was DEF praying to make it on time so I cld humbly ask if they cld plz fill my tires..Well I arrived a minute or 2 after 6pm and cld see the bays were shut down but by God's grace the open light was still left on so I figured id pull around to see if anyone was still in there that I cld see. I was INCREDIBLY BLESSED to see a young man (Mo, who I learned is the new store manager before I was leaving) acknowledge me quickly and politely headed out the door to see what I needed. He first told me he was very sorry but everything was already shut down for service otherwise he'd get me right in.. I said oh no.. I just need air in my tires please.. He didn't hesitate for a second. He said no problem, opened the bay door and another young friendly gentlemen came out with Mo and they both filled all my tires in a heartbeat even after he doubled checked my door for proper air pressure.I know it might be small to some but God gave me a HUGE BLESSING thru Mo and his team. He didn't have to come outside after hours to see what I needed but he did. He didn't have to open the door and get his teammate to grab the air nozzle machine but he did. He didn't have to take the time to help or listen to me, but he did. That's TRUE top notch customer caring quality service!! ???I've read several bad reviews for this oil exchange and it's heartbreaking. I've always received WONDERFUL care starting back in the 90s. It's no secret that some people care more than others. Trust me, I've met SEVERAL that have done me wrong. But I've also made my share of HORRIBLE mistakes and PRAISE GOD that I'm forgiven and set FREE. His mercies are NEW EVERY morning. PRAISE JESUS!!So I encourage anyone who has been hurt or done wrong with car shops to give Oil Exchange another shot. I believe Mo will do GREAT things for this company and be a GREAT asset to all his other WONDERFUL team members!! You guys have ALWAYS worked so hard!! Thank you ALL INFINITELY!! Never forget that God sees all and will NEVER fail or forsake His children!! ??????????????Love you all to pieces, JESUS loves us MOST!! Lead us HOLY SPIRIT!! Glory to God!! ??? I also KNOW it was God's PERFECT SOVEREIGNTY and protective BLESSING to lead me to CP Oil Exchange just in time because my tire pressure was scrolled over to that directory and blinking.. I Always have it set on gas tank level and ignorantly/naively always forget to check my tire pressure. ? PRAISE YOU LORD GOD!! YOU ARE the GREAT I AM!! (Exodus 3:14?) King of it ALL!! (Psalm 47 ?) ???????

Where to begin, Dan Randolph owned this place for over 30 years. It took Valvoline less than 1 year to ruin it. I decided to give them a try, after all how bad could it be.A synthetic oil change is $25 more than before with less items done to your vehicle. They were asking to cash me out before the drain plug was even dropped. They don’t grease the chassis anymore, they claimed to have checked the power steering fluid but my SUV has electronic steering, so how can you check a item full that doesn’t exist? They don’t check the fluid levels of the transfer case or rear differential. And to top it off the girl who closed the hood didn’t close it all the way, when I turned onto Main St it popped open and had to pull over and close it properly. People of Crown Point please beware of this place, too many other better options to take your car to.Service: Oil change

Bait and switch tactics, scammed my wife for $60 for an "engine flush" that you should never perform on an older car!Stay away from this location. Better believe ill be getting that money back! Single women beware this location!

******Beware they will ruin your car*****Watch out for this service shop as they cut corners and scam people. They haven’t been properly changing the oil in my 2013 GMC Terrain and the engine is failing. They don’t do oil changes and just top off dirty oil without changing filter. They also lie and up charge you on full synthetic when your car doesn’t need it. My grandma of 81 came and they did the same to her Toyota. She took her car to a mechanic and the mechanic said they didn’t do an oil change and no filter change. She brought her car back and confronted the shop/ manager to do the work she paid for. They threatened an 81 year old and told her to leave otherwise they were going to cal the police on her. An 81 year old let that sink in. BBB complaint submitted

Went to the Oil Exchange in Crown Point on Main Street, which was the biggest mistake I made. When a problem arose I went and spoke with the OWNER about it and he was the most rude and obnoxious person I ever met in my 68 yrs. I showed and tried talking to him about it and the first thing out of his rude mouth was, “that’s too bad, I’m not going to do anything about it “. Even a couple of his employees told me how obnoxious and mean he is to them. I hope nobody else makes the mistake by going there like I did. Customer’s beware, if you go there don’t say I didn’t warn you.Service: Oil change

Worst carwash ever been to. Wax and soap left on vehicle, and owner tried telling me that's how it's supposed to be. He said to go home and just wipe it off with a damp cloth. REALLY?? Owner is is the most rude and horrible business owner ever. "DON'T" waste your money. If you do it's your own fault.

I have been going here for decades and all I know is that as of recently they have some inexperienced and unknowledgeable technicians working here. There was a new, young employee who told me to start my vehicle and I hear the technician in the pit yell “turn it off turn it off the oil filter isn’t on!” I’m thinking OMG really?!They did give me a free engine detail but I just pray to God that I don’t have problems down the line with my engine…Be very aware of what’s going on.Service: Oil change

Oil change only was $56. Usually get oil change and tire rotation at the dealer for $48 so the price is pretty high. But I needed something quick so decided to try this place. Also the guy told me one of my tires was at 17 psi which is false. I checked em all before I went. So pay attention while you're here.
