Dr. Plank is one of few Drs that I have come across that truly cares about his patients and getting to the root of the problem! He’s determined to find a way to fix whatever issue you’re having and is kind and respectful along the way. I highly recommend all of the staff at LBJI for all of your ortho needs!

I have had three different surgeries or visits of the doctors of Lake Shore Bone and Joint over the last 10 to 15 years. Now the last visit I had with the last doctor continues to show exceptional care each doctor listens to what you say and offer the best suggestions and do their best to avoid surgery unless necessary. Their bedside manner is incredible I would recommend any doctor that is associated with Lake shore bone and joint.Btw the three visits unfortunately for me have been in different areas. When each doctor gets done with me that’s it problem solved. So don’t think that I am a return patient for the same issues each visit is for a different reason. They always fix me to where I feel better than I did before the injury has occurred.

Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute was able to see my son within a day of calling for an appointment. He had been in the ER, was referred to see an orthopedic surgeon, and while there's a sense of urgency, I've come to expect at least a few days before being able to be seen. The following day, was very accomodating. The day of his appointment they were able to get him scheduled for an MRI the following day including getting authorization from our insurance. The facility (Crown Point) was easy to get to, very clean, and the staff is friendly! Hopefully we won't have future sports injuries but if we do, we know where to go!

Dr ruter ruined my ankle after a botched surgery I lost my job because I still can’t walk after 5 months. They even left broken parts of a drill bit that you can see in my X-ray. Having this surgery was the worst decision I’ve ever made.

I found Dr. Ruter to be very easy to talk to and listened carefully to what I said. I had been treated by other dictors, which didn't help. While his plan of treatment was not what I expected, it was exactly what I needed. I was very impressed with his experience and treatment recommendations. I would refer anyone who needs a good podiatrist to go to him.

Went to Dr Ruter for a revision from a failed surgery. I could not be more happy with the results. After over 4 years of having pain and multiple surgeries I finally woke up pain free. I can get back to finally enjoying and living life. He is very thorough and doesn’t sugar coat things. I would highly recommend to anyone experiencing any foot issues.

I have had one surgery for carpal tunnel and am getting my second. I think Dr. Miller is very knowledgeable and explains what's is causing the problem and what will be done during the surgery to fix it.My only complaint was the wait time. My appointment time was 12:30 and I didn't finish until after 2 pm. Had to cancel another appointment.But I will say that I still wouldn't go anywhere else but Lakeshore Bone and Joint! Best doctors in the area!

Had a foot surgery almost 2 years ago and results are great. Had metal plate installed bunion removed. I Feel amazing pain free.

This place should be zero stars the nurses are rude and unprofessional also incompetentOf listening and following directions just like the doctor Aaron Ruter doesn’t listen to his patients since it’s his patients insurance money he and his nurses are receiving.the patients are also the only one going through the pain I wish I never been to this clinic. and also I would never return to this place if I broke all my bones. Only the receptionist with the glasses is the most nice and competent person in the whole office I will never ever in my life return back to this clinic in crown pointe.

I spent more time with Dr. Ruters’s Resident yesterday than I spent with with Dr. Ruter. I do appreciate Dr. Ruter gave me another injection to treat the pain I feel in my right foot and that he recommends I continue to receive outpatient physical therapy @ my provider Physiopoint.

Two recent surgeries with Dr Plank. Meniscus last August and Rotator/bicep in February. Dr. Plank makes sure you understand completely your surgical procedure and what to expect after. Always taking the time to reassure you and make you feel at ease.
