Dan put a engine in are car. We drove 20 miles and it blew. We were stuck cause we paid him in full. Plus we bought it used and we were still paying on it. The car turned into a junk while in his care. He never put another engine in. He filed bankruptcy and stuck it to us. We lost $13000. And we ended up junking it. We never thought Dan would do something like that to anyone.

My experience at brakes r us was a complete disaster. I go to a mechanic just believing that they have integrity but Dan does not. He is the owner. I brought my car in because my check engine light was on. I paid a lot of money to have the car fixed and was without my vehicle for two weeks. On the description of the work he said I had eight engine codes that showed up. He did not document what those diagnostic codes were. If you don’t document those codes, that is the pinpoint where you start to see what the problem is. I would assume this also protects his work as well as me having confidence that the problem is actually fixed. needless to say I left there and immediately my check engine light came back on. He told me he had the availability to fix my car and the items necessary to diagnose it. I believe that to be a lie. He refused to make this, right, he refused to give me any of my money back, I went in to see him with the check engine light on, and he basically just said these cars are a real problem. I would highly suggest that you take your business elsewhere. I called the regular mechanic that I use, and he was just dumbfounded that this man would not stand by his work.

This place does amazing work the owner takes his time with every vehicle he works on if you need a really reasonable shop to work on your car go see Dan at Brakes R Us you won't be disappointed
