My dad used to always bring my brother and I here whenever we went to Columbus for shopping....I miss him dearly. Happy to be able to bring my nieces here and share the pleasant memories.

Columbus is lucky to have this. Now we just need a splash pad.
The Commons is an indoor community and event space in Columbus, Indiana. It features modern event spaces and stage area, an indoor playground, and public art, including the one-of-a-kind Chaos I sculpture by Jean Tinguley. The Commons is not only a community center, but also a community resource. Upstairs is a venue for live performances, lectures, gala events, and exhibitions. A five thousand square foot indoor playground with a 35-foot tall “Luckey Climber” is a family favorite. The Jean Tinguely kinetic sculpture, Chaos I, is the quirky centerpiece to the lower lobby. The Commons is owned by the City of Columbus and managed by the Commons Board and Columbus Parks and Recreation Department staff.
