Scott was able to lower all of our rates and match or provide better coverage for our home, auto, and rental income properties! Would highly recommend him to take a look at your policies and see what he can do. He saved us almost 1k a year!

We have had both our Homeowner and Auto insurance with Erie Insurance through Richard E. Hawes since more than 10 years ago. Recently, we roof damage due to high winds where we contacted Richard E. Hawes and spoke with Scott Weatherford. The following is our experience throughout this claim process:1. Firstly, since we are from overseas and have heard of certain negative things about insurance companies and claims process in the US, we felt uncertain and definitely frustrated. However, when we called Scott to ask him to file a claim for us, he was very easy, helpful, precise, and professional, and most importantly, very patient with our questions. We believe he might have felt our frustration and helped explain the process and what to expect so we would feel more comfortable, which we did. After the call, a day or 2 later, the Erie Insurance adjuster, Daniel, called us to make an appointment to inspect the roof. This was the 1st step to the process, which went pretty smoothly! Thanks, Scott.2. The roof inspection. On the roof inspection day, Daniel came with his roof inspector. After spending some 20-30 minutes on our roof, the roof inspector came down and reported of his findings to Daniel. Then, Daniel walked up to me and said "We have approved a WHOLE ROOF REPLACEMENT for your home!" Basically, I had to ask him to tell me again what he just said as I could not believe how simple and easy this inspection and approval process was. Then, Daniel explain to me the process after this and what to expect. Great job, Daniel and Erie!3. The claims process with Erie:. This is gonna be short and super simple. After a week, we received our 1st check, as per what Daniel had explained to us. Then, after our roofing contractor submitted the documents, we received our 2nd check. It was that simple and easy and everything worked to the letter as Daniel had explained to us on the day we met - no fuss & no hassle!!! Great job, Erie!From this experience, we feel overwhelming appreciative of both Scott @ Richard E. Hawes and Erie Insurance for their professional service.

After having my family's insurance through a major provider for years, we made the switch to Richard Hawes Insurance. They've provided great service and were able to save us thousands of dollars a year on our auto and home insurances. It was a pleasure and ease to work with Scott, and I would highly recommend them if you're looking for quality insurance with a hard to beat price.

The ability to work one on one with representatives is great. Do not hold on customer service line and the fact they know exactly who I am when I call and the ability to pull my information immediately and resolve any concerns I have in a timely manner cannot be beat.

The service Scott Weatherford provides is always professional and respectful. He takes care of any questions or need quickly. He gets back to me to let me know when issues are completed. When I have asked the same question a couple of times Scott always answered as if it was the first time I asked. Everyone in the office is helpful and they make sure I understand with a kind and professional attitude.
