horribleinstore customer service Isaac is lazy. he just points his finger in a general location where an item might be then has to comment that, that part of the store is not his area because he is the "fish dude" the store lost a sale that day and my wwnt to go back I found the product that I waooking for on Amazon. my friend had the same issue with this same kid about 3 months back and this Isaac kid was rude to my friend my friend told me how irritating itwas to had to deal with that type of behavoir especially from a store that he tends to spend quite a bit of money each month or used to

We recently brought home a new puppers and needed to make sure she was up to date on vaccinations for her groom. We had an incredible experience, better than any traditional vet office visit we’ve had. I can’t say enough about their vet assistant Jenny K. And Dr Lohman. Not only did they absolutely love and enjoy our baby, they comforted and helped her feel secure. They shared information about her breed for us as new owners, they also shared every detail of what they were doing, precautions they were taking not knowing previous vaccine history, her health and they were just overall amazing. I hope when we come for her next annual shots, we are able to set the appointment with them. They are phenomenal and deserve recognition. Thank you for helping to keep our babies protected, safe and loved.

So it looks like our local Petco has gone Woke!!!!!!!!,and managed with at least one activist manager bringing about their eventual doom. I had a sister go to their store for ONE goldfish.(today 10-12-22) She was "questioned" on how big her tank was. Seems she needs a 29 gallon tank for ONE fish as this was the "humane" thing to do...(apparently this is required because this manager "feels" this way.) I researched and a 5 gallon is adequate. I called later and talked with this manager and was told that the fish have feelings and have no say on how they would live and this was their (Petco's) policy...(????????????)WTH!!!!!!!!!! And as is with these sensitive people who can't answer "logical" and "sensible" questions, and with much shouting going on, he hung up on me. Question: 1. If overcrowding is the issue (as per this persons feelings about fish), then why is every tank in store filled with many fish?? 2. As of now, I take it we may need some kind of vetting and picture proof of our tanks in order to purchase their fish ? What about feeder fish you ask?...all you have to do is tell them what you will be doing with the fish. Once answered, they will sell. RIDICIOUS ! Since when has it become anyone's business what a person buys and for what reason particularly when trying to buy ONE goldfish? GO WOKE, GO BROKE Petco's on the right path and I will help them reach their goals quickly and happily in any way I can.

Just made my 4th trip to buy some fish, with each trip a different time of day. They get a big ZERO for service, no one available other than the cashier. I realize staffing is difficult these days, but I know there were others in the store just not wanting to help. Store manager must be a real gem.

Everything is so expensive, don't waste your time. You can get better pet supplies at a more local store or even Target

I've always taken my pup here to get groomed and they did a good job. The last time I went, however, TERRIBLE. My poor pup came back with cuts on her tummy and her paws extremely cut up. I had to take her to the vet for medicine and help as to what to do because her paws were completely shaved down, cut up, and raw. That is not what I wanted at all!! I just wanted them trimmed not completely shaved/super cut up. I went there because I trusted them but NEVER again!! It was awful. My poor baby was in pain and did not want to walk. She didn't even want to go to the park and she loves going to the park. I mean, could you imagine your feet all cut up and raw? OUCH! I even called Petco the customer service line and they just kept saying it's going to be reviewed and nothing else. They were literally no help. So, I felt like this review would at least help some of you. But, no thank you, never going there again.

DO NOT BUY LIVE ANIMALS HERE! I went in for a friend for my Guinea pig who's partner passed away recently. Not only was I guilt tripped into getting two Guinea pigs (the employee said word for word: 'I hope someone comes and adopts the other one or he won't make it) so I ended up purchasing both. I got out to the car and checked on my two new friends to find MAGGOTS AND AN HUGE OPEN WOUND on one's back, and didn't inspect the other before taking it right back to the store. They said I couldn't get a refund without a receipt but they could still take them. They said it looked like ringworm, but wouldn't be treating the poor animals but gave me the option to come back and get them in 3 day. It was clearly not ringworm, rather a bite mark that became infected. They knew embarrassingly little about the animals. Absolutely disgusting treatment of animals and customers, will never go back.

Absolutely horrific care for animals. Dropped my Lhasa Apso off at 11:55 for a noon appointment. By 4 pm I began to get worried so I called and was told they were almost done. 6:30 I had still heard nothing so I called again and was told to come pick him up. When they brought him out to me he was soaked. I asked why he was wet and the girl told me he urinated in his cage. I told them he had been there for over 6 hours and asked how many times he had been out to use the bathroom. They informed me it was against their policy to take the pets out to use the bathroom. Seriously!?!? How cruel! I asked if they could give him another bath and dry him off since he was covered in pee. The girl acted like I was out of line by asking and give me a super rude "yeah I guess". Long story short, don't take your pets here for grooming. There are PLENTY locally owned small businesses in Columbus IN who will treat your pets the way you would like them to be treated. If you need any references send me a message.
