Customer service was horrible. Female at their counter complained about the previous customer who was still on their lot.She was argumentative. I finally gave her back the keys as she cussed at me as I left. Filed complaint with both Expedia and Hertz. Got a great deal with Sixt rental car at Indianapolis International. Do not rent from Hertz in Columbus, IN.

Worst Hertz branch and worst customer service. Low to no availability of cars. Two times in a row (in a two month period), the Hertz representative called me and said they don't have a car and cannot fulfill the reservation. The first time she called 10 minutes before the pick up time. The second time, the representative started talking as if she is the aggrieved party and hung up the phone on me.When the local branch does not have a car, I have seen some branch managers taking the effort to check nearby Hertz branches to see if a car is available. No such effort or intent was shown here. This person had the least care or concern for what the customer was going through.

I have rented several times at this location. My experiences have always been very positive. Paige and other staff have always checked me in quickly. Staff are friendly and efficient even when several customers walk in at the same time. This location sets the standard when I rent at other Hertz locations. Great service. Good cars.

Reserved a car a week ago and it has been fully paid for. I show up to pick the car up at my appointed time and they say I cannot pick the car up. Remember, I have fully paid to rent the vehicle at this point. Staff were very unhelpful and rude. Would not get me a refund or try and help in any way. Stay away from this place!Return update: Was told I could return on Monday at no extra charge as they are conveniently closed on Sunday. I just returned the car and they so kindly went back on their word and charged me an extra day. Truly smart capitalistic trick!!

Had car reserved showed up to pick up car and they added on $200 extra hidden fees so we cancelled reservation and they tried to charge us $50 even though they didn't want to give us a horrible management horrible place to do business with

I highly recommend this place. The staff was amazing and they put me in a low mileage, fuel efficient vehicle. It helped us get to our vacation destination and back. I want to thank everybody at Hertz for making it possible.

Please be upfront with all the charges, so that the customer is not blind sided by these extra charges! This seems to be happening a lot since after covid!
