I have used this place to rent vehicles few times. Service is prompt. Vehicles are clean and in good condition. You can drop keys after hours. Plenty of space to park your vehicle if you plan to park in their premises.

I worked with the local Hertz agent Ben P. to get a Rental Car on a Friday afternoon for an unexpected weekend trip. Ben provided outstanding customer support to get me a Car (a very nice 2021 Santa Fe) and get me on my way. Overall, one of the best customer service experiences I have had in quite a while.

The young lady that was manager trainee at the Columbus Indiana location on Central Avenue was a pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond even though she was by herself. She made the car rental part of our vacation a very nice experience. Hertz you better keep her around and take care of her. I wish her the best on her new position.

we were told hm it would be to rent a car just to go and drop off at airport. two days later we go to pick up car and the price changed and also wanted a $500 deposit "said terms just changed" so instead we parked our personal car at fast park by airport for only $50 for 7 days .FYI the employee was nice and went out of his way to call his manager but of course they rather lose business and say no.

The regional manager of this Hertz location swindled me out of $100. I rented a one-way to Bloomington, IN. When I arrived the next day, the location was closed and had a "You will be charged until we re-open" sign posted on the drop box. I called the 800 number on the jacket, and the Hertz representative informed me this was indeed the policy: even though my Hertz contract was for one day, they would bill me for three days, totaling $300. So, although I just wanted a one day rental, Hertz shook me down for three days, and since they already had my credit card on file I was helpless to stop them. When I returned the car on Monday, I received a different explanation than the one I received over the phone. The Columbus branch told me that "You will be charged until we re-open" means that you will *temporarily* be charged, and funds will be restored to your account upon re-opening. That is very different from the meaning of the posted sign, and from what I was told at their 800 number. Instead of taking responsibility for their misdirection and misinformation, they neither apologized nor gave me a refund for the two extra days I was unfairly charged. When this Hertz location says they will take you for a ride--beware--they mean it.
