I never had any issues with Mainsource in the 4 years i was with them. Switching to german has made my life hell. Everything that is deposites or withdrawn from my account automatically was shut off. They didnt send me a new debit card and my mainsource card was turnes off while i qas in chicago. The first day they opened, they offered no assistance for any issues i had and told me to go to taylorsville, hope, or seymour. Which was frustrating on top of the rude attitudes from the ladies.

Working with MainSource has always been efficient and pleasant. Due to a snafu in the switch from MainSource to German American, had to call both within a period of 20 minutes. Again, MainSource customer service is outstanding (thank you, Vanessa), German American uses a contact center with awful customer service. Although neither can resolve the issue of no online access to accounts over the weekend, Vanessa contacted a supervisor to be sure she was giving the right number to me, and to make sure she understood this situation. German American representative was indifferent to the point of rudeness. If this is an example if German American and First Financial commitment and service to MainSource customers, we may want to look elsewhere for banking.
