This is a great place for animal products. All but 1 of the employees are great. The employees will help you with anything you need but if you just want to browse and be left alone they'll give you space too. They really seem to care about their customers and their customers' pets & livestock.
The only con to this store is...A woman named Joy who should be avoided at all costs. She's an older woman and has a very sour attitude. I know many people have complained about her, not sure why she's still there. She will snap at you for no reason. If you are purchasing something she doesn't like she will talk to you like you're an idiot and explain how the item she uses is so superior to what you are getting. She thinks she knows everything about everything and lectures customers for no reason. She puts down the other employees and calls them lazy when she rarely moves away from the register to do anything else. Definitely doesn't live up to her name.

My family and I came to this location and had the worst experience with an employee named Joy. She was verbally aggressive with us the entire time we were in the store, from looking at chicks to checking out. She was rude and unprofessional with us and with another employee. She used profanity at the checkout in front of my two children and talked poorly about the other employee to us. I’m more than happy to explain the situation further with management if they would like.

The customer service was top notch! Greeted as soon as I entered. Gentleman carried my bag of dog food to the register as well. They were sweet to my little poodle. Columbia City location knows how to treat their customers right.
