Finally made the switch to TDS Fiber, nice, clean and easy install with fiber optics. Their technician Michael was outstanding. Everything worked perfectly and was up and running in no time. Wish we had this type of internet service back in 2004. It's day one, but I would recommend it if anyone is looking for a change away from Spectrum and it's a ailable in your neighborhood.

Only a one star because Google doesn't allow 0/5.TDS is by far the worst internet company I have ever dealt with. The service is spotty, at best, and expensive for the low quality. I am a college student and often have to be on Zoom calls which is nearly impossible with our bad internet service. I have to go sit at Starbucks to get free wifi in order to get coursework done while I pay for bad internet at home. My husband and I have called several times to discuss potential remedies and the customer service rep suggested we install a hard-wire connection in our 700sq ft home when my laptop is not 50ft away from the router! DO NOT USE TDS. They have terrible service. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND THE HEARTACHE. Go with At&t or Xfinity or literally anyone else...

I was very weary about ordering this internet after reading all of the negative reviews on Google. We tried Newwave, they came out but couldn't service us. TDS was it only other option. I ordered last week, and with covid-19 I had to set up my own internet. The modem came quick, and this is my first time so I had to contact customer service. They are wonderful so far. I will update my review in a while. ?Update! I experienced great customer service. But my internet was so slow, I couldn't even do a simple Google search on my phone while it was the only device connected. They did not offer a better plan in my area.Disconnection was easy. I got my money back. Now I have viasat and love it!

I personally don’t use this company. Thank god! Terrible! My mom has to use them because it’s the only company in her area. Terrible service!!! Trying to help her fix her bill and every single time we have had to call the wait time on the phone is over an hour!!! Last time my niece called for her and waited for one hour and 33 minutes and had to hang up! Their excuse for wait time is Covid. Ridiculous customer service and the internet is soooooo slow!!! If you can use another company you should!!!

Worst internet company ever!! I hate that there are no other companies in my area!! Ridiculously high and they have no lifeline service except to take a few bucks off yr $100 monthly bill!! Its ludicrous!!

UPDATE: After the last ticket was put in our fiber was finally buried. No one contacted us though, again. I am glad to have our fiber cable finally buried, but I do think TDS needs to work on their customer service.I had fiber internet installed on the 11th of June. At that time the fiber cable was not buried and I was told it would be 11 days until it would be. This was not told to me when I placed the order to get the internet installed. After 11 days I called and a work order ticket was submitted for someone to contact me within five days. I checked the status of the ticket today since no one ever contacted me and the ticket was closed (with my fiber cable still not buried). Another ticket was started today for this issue (again) and I was told once again that someone would contact me within five days. We'll see how long it takes for it to be installed.

Awful service and people I truly hate this company and would rather get 2 soup cans and a long string to have communication with people this is the most unprofessional company I've ever delt with and strongly recommend you NOT to trust these people they could care less about their customers and I'm strongly considering filing a loss of income lawsuit against them for keeping my business in the dark ages 2 months still no phone or internet ill never use this company for the rest of my life....T extbookD efinitionS tupidity

They have the worst upload and download speed I have ever seen lied and said we could get a internet upgrade told us they would send someone out for today never showed up they didnt call or anything we got a hold of them they tell us we cant get the package upgrade until October

Terrible service. I can't even get fiber optic and I live down the street from the building. The internet is always so slow and the employees never know how to fix it.

They gouge you every chance they get. Not happy with the service. Took an installer three times just to get our lines right and still the 4th line wasn’t even hooked up. I asked for a credit for the 4th line after 6 months of service and not even using it still haven’t heard back from them. It took 6 days just to get call forwarding turned on... we lost a lot of business from this alone. Bad company. Bad company. If you have any choice at all choose a different company. No happy with the service, fees, or technical support at all. It’s all terriable!
