“I have a dog that really doesn't like strangers, he's very reactive towards them. Going to the vet is always a nightmare, but they made everything so easy! The staff were so patient with him and came up with ideas to help him feel more comfortable. By the end of the appointment, he had made friends with the vet and multiple techs and was even able to get an injection without any sedatives or other drastic measures. I'm so used to vets dismissing us, not even doing a basic exam, sending us home with more prescriptions to get him to be more sedated next time and I can tell that they're annoyed that he's being so difficult but not Access Vet Care! They were amazing, I'd recommend them to anyone!”

“Update.I simply didn’t write nearly enough a few years ago. lol. Sorry my friendly neighborhood puppy (yes I know you see other animals also) doctors. ;-)I first met Dr Hill about eight years ago when my Alaskan Malamute pup needed some services and the previous random vet was not up to Hagrid’s needs.First Dr Hill was the only vet in the area (yes I could have and would have driven to Dayton Ohio but it was very nice to not have to) who would give my pup a vasectomy, this has worked out great and yes in non-us parts of the world is actually fairly common.Second, Hagrid ended up with Juvenile Cataracts. Luckily while Hill didn’t directly perform the services needed he did know how to diagnose this issue and where to get proper treatment.Otherwise, hill and all the doctors and awesome staff have been great with all of our pups even through the COVID years. We have Hagrid (Alaskan Malamute - 8 years), Shurie (Boxer - 4 years), and Wile (Mt Cur - 2 years). They also seem our previous boxer Nessy during the second half of her life. Sure miss that pup.Thank you all for being awesome to us and our babies.******Always very nice.”

“We used deck vet four our cats when I was a child, now I live across town and since trying other vets near me I will only use deck vet now. They are reasonable, compassionate people and have realistic expectations for what procedures should and shouldn't be done. They aren't going to upsell you just for the extra money like some other vet offices are more than happy to do. They also have great hours of operation. Deck vet is worth the drive from any part of Louisville.”

We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Lauren Elsea. She not only took her time to thoroughly explain allergy options, but she also took her time to answer my questions about our other fur baby that recently passed away (who was not a patient at the time). Reasonable prices and not much of a wait time. Highly recommend!”

Everyone was very nice & Dr. Evinger took care of the issue quickly. This morning the clinic called to check on him & to see if I was having any issues giving him the antibiotic. They are close by here in Sellersburg & I will continue to take my cats to them.”

I will drive a half an hour just to take my dogs to the Blackiston Mill animal clinic the veterinarian there is great the way he is with my dogs, it’s priceless. I can say without a doubt I will never change veterinarians again. Someone mentioned in another review that the atmosphere needs to be updated who cares for real. This man goes above and beyond with the animals that he sees. If you want great prices, but yet a wonderful veterinarian, taking care of your animals.
