Took my truck there for a tuneup got it back it had no oil it started this loud ticking took it back after he kept the truck for a week then tells me I need gasket covers Gary is a ripe off they claim to fix one thing only to break something else so you can go back I only needed a tuneup didn’t have a oil leak then but now I do all MR.Transmission wants is your money now I have to park my truck because he also messed up my lifter’s smh he has about a 100 cars out there and keep taking in more cars that’s why they can’t keep up with the work

Good and not so good. I appreciate their honesty that the issue with our Ford Explorer was not the transmission, and we got that answer within a day or so. After that things got more challenging.
They diagnosed the car's misfiring issues to the sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, and ignition coil. This was good news, as this fix was much cheaper than a transmission issue. They were also looking at a blower motor/switch issue (air blowing only on the highest setting).
The place is absolutely packed with vehicles. They don't keep up with their workload. They have posted hours of 8-5 but actually close at 4:30 or sooner. I was constantly told that we'd have an update "the next morning" or "in a couple hours" only to go the entire day without any progress. The car ended up at the place for over a week. We were still waiting on a fix for the blower.
I also began to suspect the main guy there wasn't answering calls from my cell phone number. The last day they had the car, I tried calling multiple times with no answer. As soon as I called from a different number, he answered. Possible coincidence, sure, but it didn't feel like it.
At the end of the week, I finally had to get the car. I wasn't going to leave it there another weekend with no work being done. The car ran worse than when I'd brought it. It had a very rough idle, and the fan blower wasn't working at all. I took the car to another mechanic that I trust and found that the blower motor had been left disconnected and one of the sparkplug wires wasn't connected all the way. And it took the other mechanic only a couple of days to get everything resolved.
So, while things seemed positive at first, ultimately getting the runaround and sloppy work to clean up left this an unsatisfactory experience.

Mr. Transmission takes full advantage of people!! Last year of April I bought a ford explorer from them Everything looked nice and seem to run good!!! buying used you never really know what your gonna get , I get it . You’re taking a chance . They said they had it detailed but After getting it home it had an old moldy Taco Bell wrapper underneath the seat . Got home and started cleaning it pulled the carpet up and literally had black mold underneath the whole carpet.They knew I had kids that would be in it . Okay spent $700 to get it detailed and to pull all the underneath out and replace it all. Than the air goes out . Spent another $1000 to get it fixed…. Like I said we bought used so you don’t know what you’re getting …. But the best part of it all ….. THE TRANSMISSION just went out!!!!!!!! They are a transmission business…. They knew exactly what they was doing!!! Very dishonest people I would never give them my business!!!!!!

Took my car there for a transmission check. They were timely, honest, promptly provided options and alternatives. I will be taking my car back there to be serviced.

I brought my car in due to the transmission slipping. We were told it could be about a week before they were able to start work on it due to my Carvana warranty. 2 weeks passed and my husband called and they told him they couldn’t find the problem. I was upset that they never called and just let my car sit there. I guess they eventually took it on a highway test drive and discovered the problem. I got no calls or updates and this ended up taking over 6 weeks. I picked my car up yesterday and the issue that I brought it in for is still not fixed. Also, my husband called a couple of times over this period and the gentleman on the phone just hung up on him before he could ask any additional questions. Im pretty understanding. I know things take time but one or two phone calls with an update would have been helpful. I’m so disappointed. I went 6 weeks without a car and now my warranty is about to run out and my car is not running any better.

Took my vehicle to Tire Discounters in New Albany, IN: worn belt & alternator. Replaced the belt but not the alternator as its under warranty with Mr Transmission of Clarksville. Took vehicle to Mr T but was told it was the compressor. Took the vehicle back to TD to confirm & the master tech said it was the alternator, by sound and by touch. Mr T refused to work on my alternator & mocked TD in the process. TD changed compressor (didn't fix) then took vehicle back to Mr T to replace alternator (fixed). This misdiagnosis cost me a lot of money for a repair that would have been free. I'd expect an apology & recompense for such an error; doubt this would happen. No need to reply: I won't be returning unless it is a warranty issue.UPDATE: Mr Transmission did reach out following the review and did, in fact, refund me the money it cost to replace a part and did offer an apology! For this, I can change the star rating.
