Super great staff that are friendly and very knowledgeable. I’ve been going to them for years now and I have never had a bad experience! I also bought my axolotl from them 5 years ago now and he is still healthy and happy as ever. 10/10 recommend them to anyone needing a nice and reliable place to go for their pet care needs!

We paid for 100 feeder fish was Givin 62 and out of that over 30 of them died on the 30 minute trip home.

Pungent smell as soon as you walk in. Facility was absolutely filthy. Seen several workers out from behind the counter plus 2 at the counter, not a single one spoke to me let alone asked if I need help or if they could be of help. The one running the register lacked customer service, positive attitude, and knowledge. On top of that, bought dubia roaches for feeder insects. "36 count" of small roaches. Was able to use 9 with 13 left as of today. The rest are DEAD! It is only Wed, they were bought Sun. Over half are dead within 4 days! Do not recommend this place at all, especially for anything live. It won't be for long!

I love this place so many cool fish my boyfriend and I take my little cousin here alot to just look around. It's a little messy but it is a super small store so I get it. It smells weird because of the salt water tanks here. But it's very cool and they have so many different animals to look at and have accessories you would need for things like fish and reptiles and ect.

One of the best local pet stores in Louisville area. They will spend the time with you to help you make a good decision on your reef aquarium investment and help you avoid mistakes. They genuinely care about you and your pet/hobby and want you to get the most enjoyment and least frustration possible. They are there to help/educate first and make a sale is just a side-gig. You can trust what they tell you.

More than half of the time I get fish here they die with in 24 hours then they will not give me store credit or a new fish even after seeing the receipt and a water test and I have to drive from over 30-40 minutes away tank is always in good condition all other fish are fine and they was recommended but you better off going to feeder pet store or Walmart or pet smart any other pet store but here over 75% of the time it a waste of money on fish here and they are not helping you they ack like it your fault even if you did everything right and everything comes back good you be better off going to a fare and winning a gold fish and having it live longer or a better pet shop that gives you 14 days just increase something happened

The people working here seem to enjoy what they do. If you are looking to get into aquariums or looking for something to put in a current aquarium, I highly recommend Greentree Pet Center. They have some small animals and reptiles, too, for those looking for a different pet.

terrible customer service have been going here constantly for over 2 years and every time i come back the customer service gets worse the guy working the counter is always rude the people bagging up the fish have to google them to make sure they are getting the right fish the there is only one good employee there is the guy with long hair and the curly haired dude and the older guy with glasses but the guy on the counter i hope he trips and falls

Great selection of freshwater fish! Bought 6 shrimp today, only downside was I didn't look at the shrimp fter I selected them and they were put in the bag, I ended up getting 2 black ones instead of a blue and a black I had asked for ? Definitely check before leaving! Other than that, you can tell they're a place that care alot about their fish and its a super clean place for all the animals they have to care for. I'll definitely be back to add to my shrimp collection!

We have LOVED going to Greentree for years, but unfortunately, we have made our last trip there. My son bought a fish that died within a few hours & they refused to replace it without a body. This is not posted on the website and is very poor customer service. Disappointed :/

I felt as if I was the only one in the store. My salesperson was extremely patient. The variety of fish and aquatic plants was plentiful. The price points were excellent.
