“I went into this dress appointment determined to NOT buy a dress, as I was just wanting to see what styles worked and didn't work on me. But I ended up finding the dress while I was there, and I couldn't be happier!Christie worked with me for my appointment and was absolutely amazing! She helped me in and out of each and every dress (and I tried on MANY different dresses) and was quick to help with anything I needed. She helped when I was struggling with wanting to say "yes" but fighting myself because I wasn't planning on doing that yet. I absolutely recommend working with Christie and her team!**The only downside for me was the lack of a fan in the dressing room. Most of the dresses are very heavy, and you're moving around a lot going from dress to dress. They had a handheld fan, but a larger fan would have made such a difference!”
“This was hands down the best experience. Madison was my stylist! She made me feel like I was working on finding a dress with someone I had known my entire life. She listened but wasn’t scared to pull me out of my comfort zone. She helped me say yes to the dress and I couldn’t be more thrilled. And let’s add that my 7 year old was with me and she got to be a little stylist herself all thanks to Madison!

We got started at 9am for a 5pm ceremony, and our hair and makeup stood the test of time and looked amazing all day long! “I’m very late to posting this, but I cannot recommend them enough. I went to their dress sale at the end of July and the girls there made it a blast trying finding my dress. I highly recommend going on a Sunday, no one else was there and it was fun having the full attention of the staff(second picture - they okayed me to share). I’m so excited to get to wear my dream dress and I got a ridiculously good deal! I cannot thank you enough!!!”

“Sharon was so helpful. Prom dress shopping can be stressful with a teen. She gave us space, gave us suggestions and really tried to hone in on what my daughter was looking for. She made shoe suggestions but when we didn’t like any of them she wasn’t offended at all. Such a pleasant experience. I feel like if you’re sensitive to feedback or suggestion just say that up front. Other reviews indicate she is pushy but that was not my experience at all and we were the only shopper at the time. We found the perfect dress!”
“Cat and the rest of the staff has been great!!! For months I tried to find the perfect wedding band and they were so kind and patient while I kept coming in after looking other places multipletimes. Even when Cat was not there the other sales associates took the time to help reassure me that I was not bothering them and helped me try on several rings to find the perfect one. I came back because the level of service I got was beyond what I was expecting and absolutely beyond what I received from other jewelry stores!!! Thank you!”

I went in today to get a tuxedo shirt for some photos later in the month, and from the moment I walked in until the moment I left, I knew I was in professional hands. The ladies there were very warm and welcoming, on top of being EXTREMELY HELPFUL. The selection of suits and tuxedos they have are modern and vast, perfect for whatever formal occasion you may have, and their prices are very reasonable. They have any accessories you may need, from suspenders and pocket squares to studs and cuff links for your shirt. They can also order whatever you may need and it doesn't take very long to get it back (2 to 7 days). They have so many colors and styles to choose from, so you can find the perfect match to whatever dress or other items you're trying to coordinate with. Not only that, but the personal expertise shows when talking to them because they helped me pick out the PERFECT colors and patterns when showing them a photo of my wife's dress. After finding the right size and trying it on, they went in the back and pressed it for me as well. I will go here again for all of my formal needs and I really look forward to speaking with these ladies again. I would recommend J. Alan Formalwear to everyone needing a suit, tuxedo, or any accessories because it was a sheer pleasure shopping here.”
