Dr. Mathewson is the best vet I have ever found. He truly cares about the wellbeing of your animal and patiently will answer any and all questions you have. He was affordable and comforting during a health scare with my cat and when my wallet was tight. I recommend him to anyone willing to drive to Clarksville.

My mostly feral cat got bit on her foot and could not walk on it. She had never been to a vet's office. I called 4 other vets and Dr Mathewson was the only one that would see her that day. She recovered the next day and the doctor was so great to suggest a rabies shot since my cat goes outside a lot. So glad I found them on the internet, and even happier that my cat seems to feel at ease with Dr Mathewson.

I had my kittens fixed. They did a great job. I love that it is family owned. His son works at the front desk. Is there a brunch of frills.. no but their prices are the best in the area

Dr. Matthewson is willing to share with pet parents useful information with pet parents, regardless of what the waiting room looks like! I learned from Dr, Matthewson that Pepto Bismol only works for diarreha caused by problems in the small intestine!

Over the years, I’ve had my dogs to several different veterinarians and once I moved, I found yet another one closer to where I live bad move. I will drive a half an hour just to take my dogs to the Blackiston Mill animal clinic the veterinarian there is great the way he is with my dogs, it’s priceless. I can say without a doubt I will never change veterinarians again. Someone mentioned in another review that the atmosphere needs to be updated who cares for real. This man goes above and beyond with the animals that he sees. If you want great prices, but yet a wonderful veterinarian, taking care of your animals. Look no further this is really a great great place.

I was super happy with this place. Our cat was sick with vomiting and diarrhea. They worked us in the same day, and we were new. He didn’t push any sort of invasive tests. You could tell his years of experience just told him what to do. Very conservative with treatment. Will be using him from now on!
